I took a short nap this afternoon after working on a ladies Craft room, it still isn't finished.

I woke up to the TV on and I could hear the News. It had started with a story about an adorable 2 year old girl that is in the hospital in critical condition. On Sunday an older cousin {grown up} had taken to their local park so she could swing on the swing set. The cousin did all the right things including putting her into one of those baby seats. But that was not enough! The swing set broke and fell down on the little girl.

I seen the young parents on the News sitting at the hospital with the only good thing being the baby was still alive.

Right after that story there was another about an 8 year old boy that slipped under a christmas float and was killed.

This is December, a time for Children to laugh and play and await that special morning when Santa has visited them. My heart is breaking right now as I remember that life is not all fun and games all the time.
