I just don't understand why people hate military service men and women and the people that support them. I'm a bugler for honor guards, and I'm just so sick of people talking crap about this country where they take for granted the fact that they actually have the freedom to do so! I'm just so sick of those Bush bashing, funeral protesters, flag burners, and people who treat vets like crap! Be thankful for your freedom for once! Freedom isn't free!As for the baby being thrown off the cliff, I don't know if that's real, but there's bad people ever where you go, and just because of one person, we're all not bad! I mean, would you people react the same way if it was a civilian that did this? Come on! Military members aren't perfect! They're humans too! And no, I don't condon animal abuse in anyway, I volunteer at animal orphanages all the time and am a cat parent. Marines are not all bad! It was a few individuals, and the media just trys to dig up whatever they can to make our servicemen look bad. If it was a case of cruelty, believe me, this guy's commanding officers will promptly administer punishment to him, but stop blaming the military!

You are so very right, there are bad people every where in some do get past even the screening process and into the military. I support our troops, I am extremely thankfull that I live in america where if I want to speak my mind out loud in public I can. I would never burn the american flag or protest a funeral and I am not happy at all that President Bush will be leaving the White House in a year. I am scared to death that obama or clinton will take office. If they do we are in for some horrible stuff.
So I raise my glass to our Military and Thank you all for the ability to be me!

Actually it was brought to the Media's attention via the WWW by the soldiers them selves.
I was banned for 3 months on Chaz for my views on this subject. Political Spamming they called it.
I wrote a letter to the Commanding Officer on those very views. And added I was impressed with the way this video cought the attention on the internet. America loves animals, some places don't. We know this. The whole world now knows a taste of just how much "we the people" love, even in war. That's something those soldiers did for our country and to thank them for me.

LMAO ROTF I actually took the time to listen to what Ron Paul had to say and I sat in front of my TV with my eyes bugging out of my head, my jaw on the floor and my ears on fire. Ya not a pretty picture. That man is outta his flipping mind to say the least.
He said that he would not only pull the troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan. But he also plans to bring every soldier from sea to shinning sea home. HELLO that would be a nightmare! Please tell me where on earth all those people would be housed. Let us keep in mind that for everyone soldier living in a foriegn country there is a spouse and children and in many cases extended family. He could probley put some of them to work, but not all. Then there is the fact that our military is a volunteer service and the soldiers have enlisted in many cases to go to those foriegn countries to work.
That man would throw our country into total chaos in a week, well that is if he had any real power as president. See there is little thing called the senate and the house that pretty much have the most say so. You want to blamn someone for the screw ups, why not place blamn were blamn lies. The House and The Senate. With their pork bellies and special interest projects. Their inablity to do anything right.
Heck the canidates promise a lot to get into the white house. Most people don't do their homework and believe that if their guy, or in this election girl, gets in, then they will do all they say if not at least some. But what they neglect to understand is that the president elect has to answer to the House and the senate who are suppose to speak for the people, that is a laugh. We have right now, mostly Democrates running the country. Ummm hello the economy is falling apart. Watch C-SPAN some time it is a real eye opener. Not second hand news, but straight from the horses mouth.

No I am NOT saying that I don't want our troops to come home. I would love for our entire world to be at peace, but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon, although I pray daily that it will.
I do mean that Ron Paul is a whacko, plain and simple. An influx of our entire Military force into our country in a short amount of time would overwhelm every aspect of life here.
Our USA became the USA by fighting the Crown. The Declaration of Independance was written and sign because of the fight with the Crown. We fought to be free. We fight to stay free. And we will fight to stay free.
Unfortuneatly one of the aspects of any war is death and wounded on both sides. It is a hard cold fact. Our Military men and women know their job is dangerous and there is a chance they will be one of those casulities. They except that, why can't we at home also except that? Yes I have family in the Military.
Two good things came out of the Iraq War, the first being Sadam is now dead. The next is the people of Iraq have a chance at feeling what it is to be free. Do you realize that there less Iraqies have died in this war then under Sadams control. Ya the war sucked, it still sucks, but they are far more better off today then they were with Sadam.
There was a larger purpose for this war then the news papers are willing to talk about. There is alot of Good happening in Iraq now that the News never talks about.
In my opinion, President Bush has done a great job with what he had to work with. And remember it was congress that gave him the okay to go to war in the first place, he did not do it alone.
