Well as some of you know my son Jacob will be 15 on Sunday. We are having a party/cookout Saturday. He is so excited and its suppose to be in the 70 We had Jacob later in life (I was 38)and he has been such a blessing to us and he is a good boy! Since they have come out all he has talked about is saving his money and buying a playstation 3 and they are pricey. Sooooooo Bill and I bought him one for his birthday yesterday. It was all we could do NOT to give it to him last night..I thank and praise God for making it possible. I will be posting bday pictures to follow..Here he is a few birthdays ago. Anyone wanting to post their praises feel free.. MM
MM i think that is so cool how you guys can really appreciate your son so much because you had him later in life. I think younger parents get so caught up in other things that are not as important sometimes. NOt that I think younger parents can't or don't do a good job, because they do (or can if they want to), but I do believe that when we have kids when we are older the appreciation level is differnt.
I think anyone who had a kid young who is now older would probably agree with me. My parents had me when they were young and my mom always said she felt she would have been a better, more patient parent if she had waited.
Anyway, as I ramble on, enjoy your son's bday and buy him a car or something.
Oh wait, nevermind. He is not old enough to drive. LOL But i bet he'd love me for saying that.
