Has anyone used the Roomba or Scooba? I don't think I would like the Roomba because in my opinion I don't think it would clean the floors as well as I would. I vacuum everyday not because I need to but because I am a clean freak and I like the having vacuum lines on my floor. But I didn't know they made a Scooba which is like the Roomba but it is a wet cleaner like for kitchen floors. So I was wondering if anyone has one and what they think of it? Does it clean good and how does it get into corners? Does it make alot of noise as in could it be used while watching TV or being on the phone or would it be too loud?

I have never used either one SL, but I would think (from seeing the Roomba on TV) that the dirt container would fill up awful darn quickly. Especially if you have a lot of pet hair, like I do. I have never actually talked to anyone that had one, but personally I don't think they would be worth the money unless you have no pets or no children.

I don't see how the roomba would be able to suck up all the dirt and hair, I think it is like a sweeper that only picks up what is right on top of the carpet. I could be wrong but I don't think it would be worth it to try it. Maybe works for some but I don't think it would for me. I am more interested in the scooba.
PW, do you have the scooba? I am wondering how good it works. I am constantly scrubbing my kitchen and dining room floor. I am wondering how well it does in the corners or the ends where the linoleum meets the carpet to the living room. Does it do a good job or do you have to manually have to do the corners and edges? Does it take a long time because I have a good sized kitchen and dining room? Does it have scrubbers or a squeegee on it or what does it do exactly? Does it suction up the water?

I have 2 of each when I first bought the roomba and I vaccum the floor with the reg vacuum which I thought was clean . but when I place the roomba on the carpet it pick up what the reg vac left behind. As I said both products work very well. the scooba makes your floor look nice. the guy that did our central air ask Tony and I to bring the scooba and roomba to his house to show is wife how good it works. what kind of floor do you have ? scooba cleans floors very well as well. you know how you wash your floor 1 time. scooba goes over it 5 times and the dirty water is seperated from the clean water . also the roomba cleans a room five time . the so call small tank can do a pretty good size room . I like it because it keeps me from hurting my back.. with the roomba and scooba I can sweep and wash floors every day and vacuum the carpets every day with no issues . I have the newer models of both scooba and roomba. now you will have to clean the brushes but that takes less time then sweeping or mopping the floors. squeegee and sucks lol
there is a a vitual wall that come with both unit is you use it on roomba it can be set on vitual wall which means it will stop it from going into the the next room if it is set on Lighthouse it guides it to the next room when it is finish with the first room .for the scooba if you put the vitual wall on the scooba will avoid your carpet

I am seriously thinking about getting the scooba. It would save me so much time. Is there a scoob a model that is better then the others or is there only one model of the scooba? I think for my carpets I will stick with my Oreck, vacuuming doesn't take as much time as scrubbing the floors but what a time saver the scooba would be.
BTW, thanks for all the info.
