How do you or where do you find out what the sales tax is for each state? I need to know what the sales tax if any is there in Indiana.

Have you tried a website for the Secretary of State? They deal with licensing businesses, etc. so you might find a lead to the information there. As far as I know, you only have to charge tax to the customers that live in your state. At least, that seems to be what the sellers on ebay do.d

I found it pa, so far it seems hotels will charge you a tax as well.

ohhhhh you're going to a show....LOL. I thought it had to do with your ceramics business. Yes, hotels in Canada have a tax too, and many cities even have a surcharge, although very small to pay for road repairs etc caused by the increase in traffic from travelers.

Sales tax in indiana is 6%

HA...try figuring it out in California...it depends on what city you're in.
