The problem with The Beverly Hills Diet however, is it gets boring. I decided to just create my own diet, and then actually decided not to call it a diet. It's a new and permanent way of life for me. I simply reduced my calorie and fat intake and eliminated bread, sugar, salt, and fats from my diet. ( Well not completely, I do have an occasional splurge, and even a brief relapse now and then, but I get right back on track. ) I eat lots of vegetables and protein, but go easy on the fruit. I've implemented a serious walking program, walking as much as 3 hours a day. The extra lbs and inches I had been carrying around have simply melted away.  I have rediscovered my love of powerwalking and highly recommend it as a weight loss tool, and to maintain a healthy weight!
