Alright, I know at 17 I shouldn't be having this problem... *cough* *cough* But I think I'm starting a beer belly. I've been loosing weight pretty well, but this belly just isn't going away. No, I'm not pregnant, but I have been drinking a bit too much beer. Can you start to get a beer belly after only like 2-3 weeks of heavy beer drinking? How the heck do you get rid of a beer belly? (Besides switching back to liquer... )
Storm, you took the words right out of my mouth. Yes, I've been 17. Yes, I had drinks at 17. However, at the tender age of 40, with children of my own, this post of Ratts is very disturbing.

Stop drinking. Only way to avoid it.
'Nuff said.

Ratt tell us why you are drinking in the first place?
I feel the same Kerack. Why are you drinking so much? Drinking too much at any age is not cool. It is only a cover up to deeper problems, and certainly not an answer.
I know that sounds cliche, but it is honest to goodness truth no matter how you slice it.
For what its worth, I miss you my young friend. I hope you are doing okay.

Non-alcoholic beer these days just as good as the real thing with many less calories. If you like the taste of beer, its a good alternative these days.
There are trace amounts of alcohol in these 'non-alcoholic' beers, so be careful not to drink more than 70 of them within the same hour.

You know back when I was 17. I drank with the best of them .for reasons that will remain a topic I wont speak of. Ratt if you are dealing with issues that are hard to deal with. you might want to confide with a close friend or counselor that may help you . either way don't drink to try to kill the pain because all you are doing is just covering it up until the next day.
I agree with everyone here Ratt, and it's only because you are a friend and I care about you, just like everyone else on here that's voiced their opinion.
As for getting a beer belly after a few weeks of drinking, I am not sure if that is possible or not.
Please, just be careful. If you need to talk in confidence, you can always pt me. I am here to listen and not to judge.

Bah, sorry, it's just kinda funny. Yup, damn it, I'm preggers. I guess Mike's mum got the worst nightmare of her life. (Being a grandma when she's so young! Lol)
Most everyone goes through stages in their lives when they think drinking and doing drugs are cool. I went through them. Drinking isn't all that great, and its really not something to be taken lightly at your age. Just think a few more years from now, you will be able to drink legally. Why risk it? Plus when you open your eyes and listen to your friends and how they think they are the coolest person for drinking all the time, your going to realize how dumb it sounds. I know my friends who still drink and do drugs sound pretty darn stupid to me when they brag about it.
It's not hard to get pregnant when having protective sex. Do you know how many people get pregnant even if they use birth control or a condom? PLENTY!!
Anyway, I didn't know you were like that Rattenburg, I hope everything is going well for you and everything works out. I'm definately not knocking you for drinking, just saying, its not all what its cracked up to be.
Susie, the people I hang out with don't 'brag' about drinking. We all realise that we all drink to sooth our problems. Yeah, some smoke up, but the boyfriend and I aren't like that, we stick entirely to drinking, and we've even cut back on that a lot since we started dating.
do situps my dear, lots of situps and power walking daily

Ratt, lots of exercise. When you're drunk just walk a lot. I don't advise drunk swimming however. Running from the cops burns a lot off too.
