We breed American Quarter Horses. Sonny Dee Bar, Tardy Too, and Boston Mac lines. My plans are to return to the showring in Western Pleasure this spring. It's been A WHILE!!!The trends have changed since I last followed them, anybody currently/recently showing?
Nope.....no shows for me. I did that when in 4-H and when I was in the local saddle club in my 20's now I just want to trail ride. You know go at my own pace at my own leisure. I DID ride western pleasure and then contest when I DID show. It was fun but this trail riding thing is much more fun.
It's a dog eat dog world, and I am wearing milkbone underwear!...unknown.

I decided to start back showing for business purposes. But I did LOVE it!!Win or lose(preferably winning)But there is NOTHING better for the soul than a GOOD horse and a loooong trail! If more people tried it, therapists would be out of business! What breed do you have cm??
Thoroughbreds and flat racing. Steeplechasing is so fascinating but every track I've been to work at doesn't offer it. It's more prevalant in the eastern U.S.
I've dabbled in Western Pleasure, and Halter as well. Quarter Horses of course! Some dressage, but I can't find a trainer I get along with.
I also break all breeds and send them on thier way to thier given discipline. A strong foundation is extremely important.
