Does anyone know of a home-aid joint supplement?
I tried the Joint Renew for 3 months on my one Gelding and he still has cracks and creeps when he moves. Any suggestions? Or Ideas? Thanks, Melissa.

Cosequin. That's the first thing I'd have tried. Glucosamine and chondroitrin.

We've been using Cosequin on our 24yo Arab who has ringbone in all four ankles. It's expensive to buy but lasts a long time and does work.

His ankles are not deteriorated. I had x-rays done about 2 weeks ago and he has a good supply of natural lube and no inflamation. The x-rays show little arthritis and no bruising. ( he might have had an injury prior to my ownership ) I don't know . My vet said possibly but nothing is evidant.

I don't think I need the injections as of yet. If he needs the injections I will retire him.
The injections lock the ankles and this will not help matters in the long run.

As far as supplements I bought a container of the Cosequin and I'll see what happens there.

I was more interested in an Herbal Supplement though. Just wondered if any was proven.
