My boyfriend has 2 malimutes both about 10 years old. One, the male who is about 85 pounds has hypo thyroid as well as epilespy. He takes meds 2x a day for the thyroid, but nothing for the epilipsy. All night he has been crying and drinking water. He is restless when he is normally very docile. His eyes are watery. He also isn't fixed and there are several 6 month old female dogs in the neighborhood. He doesn't seem to want to leave the yard, so I am now thinking that one of them in heat may not be his problem. Any thoughts? I think we will end up taking him to the vet just to make sure.
