Did you take your puppy to the vet for a puppy health check when you got her, and did the vet deworm her at that time? If so your vet should have advised you that she will need to be dewormed again in 2-3 weeks. Follow your vets advice. If you have not taken your puppy in for a puppy health check you should do so immediately. Your vet will get her started on her vaccinations which are very important. Good luck with your new puppy!
Take your vet's advice - and plan on worming the pup every two or three weeks for a month or two. Life cycle on most worms is 2 weeks and most wormers don't get the eggs.

Deworming is a normal thing in the life span of a dog. Watch your dog's behavior and learn from it. After some time, you will understand when your dog isn't feeling up to par.
You'll learn and it won't take long. A dog will give you unconditional love and that makes it all worthwhile. Always notice your dog and that helps you to understand them better. A dog watches us and learns, so we in turn must do the same. There is a lot to learn about dogs and time and experience are the best teachers I have found. I'm sure you'll do fine.
