I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this.....since the old boy is not a domestic pet but here goes. I have been taking pictures of this collared lizard for some time now & I have started feeding him grasshoppers lately.
I know this is not an entirely good thing so we will cover that fact to begin with & get it out of the way.

Should I limit the number of grasshoppers that I feed to him ? He was very "relaxed" (maybe too much so) after a 5 grasshopper meal yesterday. I don't feed him evey day as I don't want him to become dependent on me for food. Any thoughts on his feeding would be appreciated.
