There's a Gila Monster out running wild around here. The first time I saw it, I thought to myself--why, that's the biggest lizard I've ever seen. Then I came to my trusty old internet line and looked it up. Yep, it be a Gila Monster for sure and there's a picture of one that looks just like it on the first site I clicked onto. I guess someone turned it loose or it got out or something. I asked around but nobody seems to have lost one. I don't know, I live off a dirt road, maybe somebody dumped it.
Do you have a Gila Monster talk Moderator? Or is this just a new topic? Wink

Has anyone ever had a chipmunk? I used to want one, and I am still curious to hear any stories of chipmunks as pets. Smile Cute glider there!

John, would you happen to have a picture of your chinchilla that you could post for me? I've never seen one.

It's a small world, after all.

I have dogs and I found a wild kitten that wasn't too wild this past weekend. It was beautiful and fluffy and white with some gray on the legs. I'm feeding it and it doesn't seem like a wild cat at all. I keep looking around to see if I can find the mama or more kittens. It is big enough to be without the mama, but I am keeping an eye out anyway.

Laurae 2667, Why did you used to have a cappuchin monkey what happened to it ? Did it die ? or get mean ?

Himalayan Queen Do you mean a Ring Tail Lemur ? Is it mean ?

I ask because I have heard that primates become aggressive with maturity.

no BUTTONS was a sweet heart. he was being trained to do simple chores for paralized people. by the time we where done with him, he had learned to pick up the phone and bring it . open cabinets, pick up cups and plates. pull curtains back, pull the blinds strings.open draws,he was like a little 4yr old child, that wore a diaper .simple little things that people take for granted.

I am owned by 1 half normal dog, 1 dog who thinks shes a cat, 2 cats, 1 senegal, 8 cockatiels. No babies at the moment (i think baby birds are quite exotic looking LOL). I have in the past had turtles, fish, hampsters, budgies, bunnies. And my son is working on either getting a lizard, he would love to have a snake too (his dad says no way in ****). But nothing out of the ordinary for me atleast.
