most non profit animal adoption organizations have small adoption fees. i'm curious why your are so high? you can also list pets for adoption free at petfinders...good luck!
NOT true. not all rescues have small fees & alotof facilities get goverment funds. we do NOT everything is out of pocket. spayes/neuters/ exams/ vet care shots. mostof the time we spend mroe then the adoption fee. sometimes we have cats with a lesser adoption fee. but most of the time the cats are about 150 dollars for adoption. n thatjust covers the vetting. not goverement funded. our rescue is only on donations only. those donations are very rare. any animal adopted$$ goes toanother cat we have for vet care.
we have a cat for adoption fee is 85 dollars an adult who is neutered.- only cat.
we have another cat who is front declawed & neutered. his fee is 125(bcuz we were given a donation to cover part of his vet care). we have another cat who is fixed young in age 150 dollar fee is fixed.
we did have 2 cats adopted last week or so. with fees under 125 dollars.
all of our cats go with starter kids. so they are alil more secure when placed & do NOT get so scared in the transfer.
