Hey all, Does anyone know if you can keep 9 gold fish in a 10 gallon tank. I have looked online and they have said no more then 10 in a tank and some sites say no more then 5 in a tank. Please any thoughts. Thanks
It's not always rainbows and butterflies. It's compromise that moves us along. (This seems to be so true in life).

what kind of Goldfishe, Sheltiehandler? We have the fancy "Fantails". I got them right now in a 10 Gallon tank....but only 5 of them. And I have to get a bigger tank pretty soon, as they will grow fast. I think 10 might be too much for a 10 Gallon tank. Tiffany
If you have good filtration you can pull it off. Goldfish even fancy ones are very dirty fish, but if your PH is ok and the water is not milky then you should be fine. I would not add anymore tho.
Not totally true Fangs. Fish come in all sizes. 1 fish can be an inch long or a foot long. You really need to go by inches. 1 inch per gallon of water. At least that's how it works in reef tanks.
