Guess I just need to vent tonite. I had a nasty person reply to an ad I posted about an animal that needed rescuing. They really hurt my feelings and I'm over here doing my best to help out the animals. I don't know what kind of person would deliberately judge and hurt someone they don't even know, but maybe it's some kind of online thrill. They might figure no one will ever know who they are, but they are so sadly mistaken. I just wanted to write a bit to let people know that animals in need do need all the help we can give them and there are so many animals out there just wanting someone to love them. Thanks for listening to me ya'll.
of all the nerve...... I don't see how anyone could do that. They try to find an animal a good home, and once someone replies, all they do is be nasty. I'm sorry this happened to you deserei, i know you were just trying to help.
I know how you feel!!! On my website www.geocities.com/papuppymills i just got a bunch of stupid emails degrading me and my friend and saying crap. That made me really mad!!!

Hi PAPMR,
I would like to post your link to a few other sites if you don't mind. I went to your site and just cried when I saw those pictures. I breed and show Bulldogs and I pride myself in being a responsible breeder. I would like to link your site to my web site too. I live very close to Lancaster County and have had my experiences with puppy mills trying to buy Bulldogs from me for breeding. Keep up the excellent work!

to papmr: can you please tell me how you got these pictures and what we can do about this.....any information you can send is fine and my email is dezerei@aciglobal.com I do animal rescue and I was horrified by the sights I saw there. I'd love it if we could do something against these puppy mills. Did you visit a puppy mill and how did you find it? I'd like to know how they are getting away with this stuff---there are laws against animal cruelty where I live and maybe there are laws there also to stop them? please email soon. thank you!!
I know how you feel, I've gotten nasty replies too. Particularly to my rats... You know how many people have had the nerve to purposely seek me out (a strict pets-only breeder/rescuer) and e-mail me with "My snake would love that rat." I feel like screaming. Why on earth would anyone say that to an add that's obviously from a rescued rodent that didn't come from a good place? gaaaaah. The only thing you can do is ignore them, fighting with them just brings them glee.
I've noticed that some people just like to blast others and criticize them for literally anything they say or do. Must be lots of unhappy people online. I never realized that until I started advertising. If people used their hearts more than trying to be smart with their mouths, the world could definitely improve. The online stuff is for the cowards because if they were face to face with you, they wouldn't have the guts to be critical. I've learned that also recently.

I do volunteer work at our local animal shelter and occasionally a true pure bred dog does come in with papers. We got a lhaso apso with her papers and tried to get her adopted online. No one wanted her. I guess they didn't believe she was purebred. The dog's owner had passed away and her kids didn't want it. We ended up giving it to one of our vet's parents and they didn't even want the purebred papers-they were just so happy to have the little doggie. Who knew? I guess you can never tell. I generally tell people that it looks purebred, but we can never be sure because we don't have the parents of the pup and you know when people bring in animals they will tell you just about anything. I don't know why it's so hard for them to just tell you the facts, but no, you get these big elaboraborate nonsense stories you have to listen to and it's so ridiculous because they think they are fooling you. They aren't. Maybe it's their guilty consciences for dumping the dog???

When you rescue you get alot of people that should never have a pet but will end up with one some how. I" ve rescued for 9 yrs in NY sate when I get someone thats rude or nasty most of the time they have something to hide and would not get there knew pet from me anyway so I just tell them right to the point. I don't have the time to make it sweet would rather be with the animals that have came in or work on helping others. I not only rescue but also will help people that will not pay for spay/neutering of there pets mainly people that don't have money or barn cats that just keep reproducing, also get alot of bad breeders that when finished with a animal will just kill it just so they can replace it with another good breeding animal.Just keep yuor head up and Keep doing a good thing.
