Got a little story i'm sure most of you pet lovers can relate to.
The past few months have been really bad for me health wise. In november i found a big red itchy spot on my back used cortizone on it but it never went away, my mother though it might be a form of exzama(sp?) i used to get all over my legs when i was little but it wasn't! In january red itchy spots started to appear all over my torso. And i'm talkin itchy like poisen ivy!! Went to do the doctor and it was a fairly rare disease called Piteriosis Rosea, no known cause, no known cure but ti goes away eventually on its own. So i had to live with that for about a month and then it finally died but it did a hell of a job on my immune system. Next thing ya know i have the flu which as i'm sure you all know drains you of all life. And during my flu i develop an unknown mouth infection. Which is where my story gets painfull. My gums swelled and hurt so bad i ate nothing but jello for DAYS. I had fever blisters all over my lips from a temp of 104. And ofcourse this had to get really bad on friday night so i couldn't get to the dentist until monday. Poor me the dentist didn't even know exactly what it was but gave me a prescription for a rinse to kill whatever it might be. They assume it was a result of my over worked immune system. Good news is my mouth is better, bad news is i'm sick AGAIN. I now have the worst cold of my life....But through it all i've had my 2 american eskimos who stuck by me and Frenando my cat, the love of my life. I think i might have died if it had not been for them! I've heard animals can lower your blood presure and smell cancer cells and do all these awesome things but WOW did they make me feel the slightest bit good when i felt like death. So this post if for them! And everyone else's animals that love their humans even when they have leaking noses and itchy skin!!

I really needed to read this post as well, considering one of the dogs got out of her collar last night and jumped the fence. She did come back about 45 minutes later, but I was just a mess! I don't know what I would do without her.

My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dogs already think I am.
OH NO! Labby! I bet you were sick about it! I'm glad she's back. Who's the guilty party? Let me guess....hmmm...is she black, with a big goofy grin on her face? Bad girl! Bad! Bad!
Well it has been a month since your post and I trust you are feeling much better by now. If you are still struggling to get your immune system in line, take a look at this link. It may be worth checking into. They have items for your furry friends as well.
