Would you let this happen to your precious fur baby?

Bad irresponsible breeders, no matter what the pet store lies are told.
No good breeder lets his babies be sold to someone else without his approval.

Hello Everyone Smile
I'm new here, I hate the puppy mills, in fact
I know of someone right now who is breeding,
beagles and selling $100.00 a litter down in
Lancaster, I he has been busted last year for not taken care of his beagles, haveing to many and to many caged together it was gross. But how do you stop him from doing this. Selling these pups, he is breeding females over and over just to make a buck.

Keep calling the police on him. Just don't let him know it's you who's doing it. Keep it discreet so that you can keep an eye on him without him getting defensive towards you.

It really sucks that our state is known as one of the biggest puppy mill states. Puts a bad name on anyone that is a true breeder.

That's true that are state is at fault but I also blame the AKC becaue he is registered with them with each and every one of those dogs. That the bull of it all. I get so mad, I call the dog warden all the time becauee he's not to own over so many dogs but he has to be over that limit. I just wish I could get him busted. I'm angry in case you can't tell.

Maybe contact PETA? They can sometimes overreact on some things, but they should help you out on this one. Get some video footage if you can, or some pictures. Find anything you can to get PETA there to help you out. Good luck with it. Maybe you should post this over in the breeders corner too. You'll get more replies there.

PETA overreacts contastly. Any group whos end goal is to end having companion/pet/work animals, is to much for me.

I say treat them well, but I will fight over not being able to have them.

blame the AKC? that's ludicrous. Do you blame the DMV if your car is a lemon? It is not up to the AKC to regulate breeders, but the government. That is how it works in every other country. The government regulates breeders. The AKC is a registering body only. If they find bad conditions while doing inspections, they call the local authorities to deal with it and they suspend them from being able to register with AKC. They don't care. They just go to one of those pseudo registries. The public doesn't know about breeders so these people continue to make a buck. The way to stop it is to educate the public. Nothing the AKC can legally do to stop breeders or suspend breeders unless they are caught with bad paperwork. They are not a government agency.

I wouldn't mess with PETA- they have links with some of the enviromental terrorist orgs- but try your local humane society- not the city shelter. In some states, they can bring cruelty charges aganst people.

God bless,

I think that the cows choose to be milked, I've lived in farmville, and they come running to the barn at milking time, no bells or anything.

We have engeneered dairy cattle as we have all of our other domestic stock. Dairy cattle run in for milking to be releaved of the pressure in their teats. It becomes painful and full, eventualy leading to infection and a lot of discomfort as the milk dried up from not being milked.

Basicly, it is crule to not milk a dairy cow.

But we have created their need to be milked daily. And they are bred yearly to stay in milk as well.
