Hi gang,

I am new to this board and hope this isn't inappropriate to post. I was on another board and they mentioned ebay, so I thought maybe I could post it on another board too. I currently have some stuff up on ebay in hopes of raising some money for my pooper's vet bills. Maybe you can take a look at what I have up for bid and see if there's anything you can't live without. Smile My ebay username is Laddies_person. Thanks!

i'll check it out, but you might get a warning for advertising on this forum. at the top of the page, it says advertising strictly prohibited. next time, just put a free ad in the bbc and don't piss off the pope here, okay.

No, you can't delete it unless you are registered and even then up only until an hour after you post. I did check out your site--I'm a avid ebayer. I think it's okay, the mod can remove your post if they don't want it here. Not okay to advertise, but since it wasn't removed and a lot of them aren't--not a big deal.
It's easy to register, just think up a name and put in your email and then they send you a confirmation notice. That way, you can PT (private topic) people if you want to tell them about your stuff on ebay. Sign up and let me know. I am interested in the toys you listed. I sent you an email for shipping costs. Sign up, we'd love to have you here. Smile

One cool thing, you can list your url in your profile or put your link in your signature and then it's "acceptable" advertising because you are a member. Do you have any pets?

It's a small world, after all.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Since this is the pet forum I suppose it would only be proper to tell about my two children. Felix is the oldest. He is a 5 year old black dsh cat. He was one of those unexpected blessings you get in life every now and then. It was a Sunday night and a coworker of mine called me up. She said that someone she knew had a bunch of kittens they were going to take to the pound if they didn't find homes. She knew I had a weakness for black kitties (love that satin look). She said there were 2 little black kitties in the litter and she was taking one of them, so would I PLEASE take the other. So...after a lot of begging from her I finally decided to bring him home. He's been a real joy to me and a very loving animal. My youngest child is a 4 year old purebred Sheltie by the name of Laddie. Now Laddie isn't like your average Sheltie. He is very quiet. He was an impulse purchase from the local petstore. I went in there one night after work looking for a collie. They didn't have any, and Laddie was soooo cute, that I ended up getting him. It was one of the smartest things I ever did. Grant it, he does have his share of health problems, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. He's intelligent, devoted, and extremely loving (ok, Felix may not agree with the last one...lol). I have been blessed with 2 perfectly wonderful animals.

Welcome to the forum. There isn't a regular introduction place on here. Feel free to come and "chat" whenever you like. Even on the breeder's corner if you want to talk about animals--you don't have to be a breeder to post there. Good luck on your auctions.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm so glad you liked those toys, CindyLu. I think Porky was the cutest too. It will be a while before I have more stuff on ebay. Well, maybe in a week or so. Just be sure to check on ebay every now and then under the "search by seller" tab! Smile

I checked today. I'll keep checking back. I've been busy lately and not much time for shopping or chatting. I hope all is well with you, 4Lad. Smile

So far everything is going well. For the time being Lad is doing better, except he keeps chewing his paws and they are so raw and swollen. Frown I took him to the vet and they gave him meds, but they didn't work. Hopefully the cooler air will help take care of his allergies. I've updated his site with new pics and links, here it is: http://www.geocites.com/Laddies_person/Laddie.html. Of course, there's no need to go there if you aren't a Sheltie lover!
