Mini Shar Pei's? 
I saw an ad for them in a local paper. Wondered of it was some idiot or if there really are minis.

It's an idiot.

I have a share-pei and have never seen a mini, but I have heard they exist. I just adore the breed and one of the qualities I loved most other than their look, was that loyal and aggressive shar-pei nature. I've yet to met anyone who was not terrified of him, but a smaller version of wouldn't be taken as seriously.

Friend of mine said there are mini's, but they're expensive. The mini shar-pei should stand no more than 17 inches.
