Haven't heard from you lately, hope everything is ok your way. My 2 babies have started feathering out. Both are pieds . My very first pied babies. They are complete opposite though. 1 is a heavy pied and the other has just enough white feathers to be a pied. As soon as the hubby figures out the whole camera/computer thing I'll post some pictures of them.

Can you maybe put some photos up when the chicks come of age. They sound really cute. congrads!
Here is my flock

well 9 out of 10 eggs were fertile but they quit sitting on them. Young pair??? Hopefully they will go back to nest. I just took the 9 eggs away today because they were ice cold so I knew neither has sat on them for awhile. My lovebird egg turned out to be not fertile but both pairs have gone back to nest. And I have 3 different female budgies in nestboxes. Will keep you posted.

Awww pape, I'm sorry. They could have stopped because they are a young pair. It might be the weather too, On the tiel list that I'm on. There seems to be a lot of weird things going on this year. Pairs quit sitting like yours, there was one lady who's hen laid 2 eggs 9 days apart. I've been thinking about adding a few different speices to the group. How's your greencheck pair doing?

Thats cool pape. Got my fingers crossed for you this time. Baby and Elvis have went back to the nest too. Not what I wanted, But thats my fault for not seperating them. None of the others will breed with out a box, so I figured that these two wouldn't either. Baby's laid 2 and both are infertile, (not that I expected them to be other wise). Thats what happens when you have a bird that thinks breeding in the food dish is a good idea. The 2 babies from their first clutch are doing great. Did I tell you that the oldest turned out to be a oddley/lighly marked pied. I really need to figure out the damn camera so that I can put up thier pictures.
