Well the time is aproching for me to go get my new SLYC hen. Tomorrow at 1 to be exact. Ohh the next 20+hours are going to drag. I decieded to go and get her this week instead of next, that way I am home if the 2 babies need any help. Then next week I have 2 babies that will be hatching. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I get a pied baby.

The new hen, and the new boy are doing fine now. The boy(who still needs a name) had a few rough nights the first couple. Baby #1 hatched, just waiting on egg #3. Egg #2 just disapeared out of the box. Can't get the kid to admit to anything, but I think thats where it went.

Well glad to hear the new additions are doing good. I know the feeling about eggs coming up missing. That is why now NO ONE except me is allowed to open nest boxes. And no one but Paul and I are allowed in the breeding bird room.

I wish I had a bird room. My bird room is part of the living room and has now extended to the dining room area. And I don't think the hubby is willing to give up the bedroom so that I can feed my habit. LOL Ohh and you are a very bad influence on me. I will be getting 2 new ones here soon. Just as soon as I pay them off. I wasn't exactly looking for more, as I knew I would be getting the slyc hen, didn't know about the pied boy.
How are your tiels doing?? I'm still waiting patiently(ok maybe not) for a pic of them.
