I just want to have your opinions on the avian bird flu. When I heard about this epidemic, I really got scared and I even set free the two birds that I had at home. I have to do a presentation on the topic avian bird flu next month. I have got a lot of information on the web but to make it more interesting I wanted to know what people think about this disease. Do you still have birds as pets in your house? Do you consume chicken and other poultry products as you were before? Please share your opinions!!

I still consume all poultry products..chicken, eggs,turkey....As far as i know bird flu is no more a threat for us.....
I don't have any bird at home but that'll be a nice idea to have one. I want to have a parrot. The colourful one..Just like the one below:

What kind of birds did you set loose? Pet birds? If so how could you do such a thing. If you where that scared why nor give them to someone else to care for them. They will more than likely die out there on their own. How sad. I still live my life as I did before. Eating poultry and eggs. I still care for birds and poultry as before. Until I hear or see this disease in my immediate area then I'll worry.
