My "baby" Gideon (a.k.a Gibbey) was acting really sick: sleeping on the bottom of the cage, runny feces, not eating, not reacting when we touched her, nothing. So my dad and I decided to put some millet in there for her to eat and she still did nothing. So we figured it was her time to go. So we tried to put a heat lamp on her, cover up 2 sides of her cage and let her rest. At 3:30 in the morning we checked on her again and my mom said it would only be a matter of minutes before she was gone. I went to bed crying (I had been praying all night long and called my grandma to pray also.). I woke up the next morning when my dad went to get my mom up and I asked him, is she gone? He said no, she is crawling on the bottom of the cage. I satyed home from church by her side constantly spoiling her and now today she is her normal self before she started getting sick, she's like she was when we first got her. This started Saturday night (7/23) and now today she is completely fine. We've had her for 4 years, almost 5. Is this a miracle or what? Now since I show so much love for my babies (we have 6 total), my dad is thinking of letting me get another, and I have the perfect name: Skittles.
