If the first egg hatched, how long do you think it will take for the others to hatch? This hen did start sitting on them from the first egg. I tried to look up the info online but have not had much luck Frown
Anyone know or have a link to the info?
Thanks, Joy

since she started setting on the first egg they should hatch approxiatel 24 /36 hours from each other. Just make sure she feeds the new hatches because sometimes they will neglect if the age difference is too much like egg l and egg 5 there will be a 9 day difference in chick age and that means a lot in birds as they grow very fast.

Thanks dchis,
She has 3 hatched so far. Two more eggs are left. There were 6 eggs originally? I guess they rolled one away?
Also one has yellow down the other 2 have white down. Do you know if that means anything?
Thanks! Joy

The one with yellow down will either be a orange cheeked or a pastelface. Its hard knowing which ones they are with out know the parents. The 2 with white down are whitefaces.
Congrats on you new babies.

Its somewhat correct Purple. Most tiel breeders like to wait until the hen is about a year and a half sometimes 2 years. Just to be safe.

LOL Baby in diapers rotflol. He's got you fooled Wink. Males start becoming interested and full of cockyness(*no pun intended there*) at about 8 months of age.
