ITs catching at your house. LOl better start watching the rest of the animals. Your going to be over run with babies of all speices. So where does the waiting list start? Do you think she's done? 6 eggs is just on the high side of normal. I have one hen that lays 8 every time. Needless to say there is another, pair just waiting to foster a few of her eggs, but thank goodness shes single right now. I should have 3 new babies hatching right around my sons birthday. Glad its his and not the daughters. LOL she would want to keep the one that shared her birthday. Keep us posted on the babies. psst Pape did you know you can tell with the tiel eggs as early as 2 days if their fertile or not? And if you check early enough, you can see their little heart beating. Thats the only time I really handle the eggs to candle them, after that I just shine the light in the box.

Yep you can, They will start out as a red ring with a red dot in the middle of it. Its pretty cool. I think on the 3rd or 4th day you can see the little heart beating. I think that is one of the coolest things to see.

Holy Sh#@ pap. This is her first time? With that many eggs you might want to consider fostering a few, or just letting her & him hatch them. But your going to have to watch the youngest ones if you do that. Too bad you didn't live closer, I could foster some of those eggs for you browman. hehe Good luck with them all. Hey when am I going to get to see them????
