None have left the nest yet.... I cant wait till they do. I guess it will be up to a week before they venture out?
The father looks to be a dilute normal? (if thats a color?) and the mother is white. The babies are all just grey right now with tail stripes. They really make a crazy amount of noise when they get fed.
Incubation for zebra finches is about 13 days and the chicks leave the nest about 18 days after they all hatch. How long has it been since they hatched?
The only dumb question is the one that goes UNASKED!!!!

I lost the battery charger to my digital while on vacation. I'll ask my son to take a pic with his camera phone tomorrow. Im sure the pic wont be too great though... One baby is out on the bottom of the cage... Im tempted to put it back ?

I wouldn't. It's probably fledging or something. You should just go buy new batteries, or does your camera only take a special battery?

My brother has a nice camera tho... maybe I'll snatch his? The little bird was being pecked on by another adult finch in the cage so I put the baby back in the nest. Mommy was so worried and all trying to hover over the lone baby. I'll see how things go tomorrow...

By Mavica I am assuming you mean a Sony one. You can call Sony at 1-800-222-7669. They may be able to sell you a new battery charger. The parts number is BC-V615. I looked this up in the manual that came with my Mavica. Hope this helps you.

You should try separating the mother and father into their own cage. Like, if you find eggs, remove the other birds that aren't helping out or something, that might help a little bit. Or even separate the birds into same sex pairs and such.
Pug, I mean that they should take out all the birds except for the mother, the father and the babies, if the male helps, that's why I said to remove the birds that aren't helping. I'm pretty sure that the dad helps out in finches too. I don't remember which bird it is that breeds in small 'flocks' though. I'm thinking it's the budgies though.
