I'm thinking of getting an Eclectus. I had one years ago, and I'd like to get another. I am not sure if I want another female, or wish to try a boy. I've received a lot of contridictory information as to what is sweeter and etc etc.

well, I as a breeder, and know many other breeders- would have to say if you get a male- they are more gentle then the females. if you have had a female- i think you would be happy with either but you might want the more spunky female.
