As some of you may be aware I have been searching for more diamond doves because the pair I have are a father/daughter pair. Well I wrote to Jeff Downing the well known breeder of these beautiful birds and he agreed to sell me 4 doves. 2 Red diamonds and 2 brilliant diamonds. I am now waiting on their arrival. I am excited to say the least. This has been a great year for me bird wise. I have found almost every bird on my wish list this year. I will keep you posted as to when they arrive and will post pics too.

Well I spoke with Jeff tonight, he is trying to wait for a forcast of a couple of days where the temp will be below 90. The doves are being shipped to me via express mail. Hopefully they will be shipped out on Monday, will let you know. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for a few days of below 90 weather.

Well there was suppose to be an email this morn telling me the info about the birds and the shipping info but alas no email Frown.

Paul asked me if it was possible we got scammed. I told him being that Jeff is so well known that I doubt it. Just might be super busy with his birds and selling them.

For anyone who would like to check out Jeff's website it is:

OK now I am becoming a little upset. I have been waiting all day for either a phone call or email confirming my shipment of my birds and have not gotten anything.

Congrats, I'm glad all arrived safely. Although pape. Ya' need to stop getting more birds. Your making me just green with envy. Because I can't have anymore crying. He threw a fit last thursday, when I brought home a new cockatiel. Ohh well. But Im glad they made it to your house just fine.

I glad to see that they made it home safely!

Also, tell P, peacocks are cool. I want one so bad, but I know it'd be up ontop of the house making loud obnoxious noises(that a bird lover can enjoy) that the neighbors would hate.

Well I told P, we have to wait until we move to the country to get the peacocks. That way we can build them a huge outdoor run with netting over the run to contain them. The peacocks are one of those "someday when ......." type pet we have on our lists.
