I picked cockatiels, but my second choice (which really isnt' just 1) would be the african parrots. I love the look of the macaws, but to be honest, their beak kinda scares me. LOL. Just something that could bite my finger (with NO warning), that is strong enough to crush my wee little finger.
I chose finch out of those, but I don't mean like society or zebra, or those artificially mutated colored finches. I like the ones Nature herself painted. I think my most favorite finches are the purple granadier (sp?) and gouldian finches (natural colored).

well of course I picked the Macaws, but then I am biased. I am owned by 4 of them . Dals yes their beaks can be intimadating.. I know had stitched in my lip just last week. But I wouldnt trade em for the world, I just love them especially when they decided to be lovable.

How do u make a poll like that
I dont know about Budgies being easier to tame. I have both Macaws and budgies.. My Macaws tamed down quicker than my budgie has. I can pick up my Macaws without worrying about being bit, cant say the same for the budgie.
As for the poll.. up top click on the new folder... then click on poll and start what ever type poll you want .

I have never had a macaw but my parakeet is really tame and i have had him for about 3 years. i can't remeber but i think i tamed him down in a month or two. he will still bite me and flutter to his cage if i pester him too much
