I have a 10 gallon tank in an office environment. In a week, i lose about 1/3 the water. i think this is due to the AC, making the air dry and evaporating the water? Anyone have this problem?. Any suggestions? Freshwater tank, no leaks. Alot of calcium buildup on the outside of the tank. First tank with this problem

Well, i can't really give much of a suggestion on the water loss problem, for the the salt creep ("calcium problem"), I can definitely recommend a Salt Creep Eliminator Spray by Coralife. It works wonders. And no, it's not just for saltwater tanks. Freshwater tanks have salt in them as well, and a lot of times people don't realize that's what the "white stuff" is. Hope this helps.
