The female has a red body and just a poor butterfly on the tips of her fins in black. The male has a gorgeous black body, red butterfly and then black tips, and he's a great crown tail. I've put them together, and now the female is really ready, head down, barred up, following him, etc. All he wants to do is prance around like an idiot! He hasn't started his bubble nest yet either, so I'm hoping a night's rest for him and her will produce a nest full of eggs. X <~~~fingers crossed!
Are we talking Betta? Let us know if he builds his bubble nest! Have you had baby Betta before? I have seen them and they are microscopic at first, it is very neat! Good luck!
He has a tiny nest, though they haven't spawned yet. I think they will though. I've never spawned bettas before. I've attempted to a few times, but there was always something wrong. I'm going to raise them on daphnia (the baby daphnia) and hard boiled egg yolk. (Only because I lack microworms, because they STINK!)
