what am i supposed to do? i have had a few hermits before and only one left currently, it seems like every time i hold them they die. i try to keep the humidity level up and their food and water good, but i dont know wat to do. anybody have any ideas?

Hermit crabs are very social, they like to be in groups. Make sure the tank is kept clean, and they also like luke warm water baths. Just submerge them in warm water for no longer than 2 minutes and kind of shake him around a bit, this will clean all the poop and such out of him, this is also very good stress relief, hope this helps

Thanks i'll try that, my aunt was having the same problem, her tank was very clean and she always had fresh food and water, could it be the weather? like during the winter its sometimes hard to keep the humidity up inside.?

well we keep sand on the bottom of ours and one huge sponge...we wet that and rinse it out everyday so its moist all day, along with a water dish. The temp is also saposed to be 72 degrees day and night.
