In my honest opinion it is not worth the hour and half of anyones time. If you are thinking about seeing it, don't! Buy the books, it is way way better.

Eragon is the first book of which the Movie chopped to heck.

Eldest is the second book and makes you really really want the third book to hurry up and come out.

Anyone see this Movie? if so did you read the Book first?

First there were no elves or dwarfs.
The Razax were made wrong.
Brom was made wrong.

Murtag had short black hair instead on long blonde.

I did not see it I just listens to the book on CD and I loved it!!MM

MM tell Jacob I am with him. We didn't go to see the movie in the theater as I knew it would be out on DVD, I ordered it before it was out for my grandson's birthday the end of march. We got it for $19.00. We watched it and I couldn't even sit through it I was soooo disappointed.

Then here it is April and it is already on Pay Per View for $3.99 I was pissed I spent that much for the DVD.

I read both books out loud to my grandkids. I will have to reread both of them just before the next one comes out. I loved that story so much after I read it myself the first time, before I read it to the kids.

I cannot wait for the last book, it will be awesome I am sure.

Mya get the books on CD if you can we love sitting down as a family listening together.
We have all the Harry Potters too. Once you get the first one your hooked Its great for traveling too. MM

I loved the movie. Granted, I've learned to watch the movies first, then read the books, or don't watch the movie at all. I now need to get the book, since we have the movie on DVD. Now, if you want to talk about butchering a book when converting it to film, read Clan of the Cave Bears and then watch the movie. You'll cry about it.
