I don't mind older movies if I haven't seen them or if they are good ones. I didn't find any and the bargain bin here, they are $5.88 but it was a disaster and too many people. I'll check back again later on.

Another place to try for old movies/tapes is a pawn shop. We didn't have hardly any where I grew up. They are more fun than a flea market. I've managed to replace a lot of my tapes, tools and general stuff - you just have to watch what you're getting - but they'll let you try the stuff.

When my house was burned, I lost 225 tapes with 3 to 4 movies each, plus about 15 miniseries/specials tapes, and about 100 commercial ones. Most of which I'll never be able to replace.

Racey - I was very pleasantly surprised with 'Seabiscuit' - usually movies about horses are bad 'cause they don't even try to make the doubles look alike. Other than some of the scenes with the mechanical ones - and some of those were pretty good - I could only pick 2 or 3 horses - I was shocked when I watched the extra stuff and found there were 10 of them!!!! Even going back I couldn't pick out more than three - One they used most of the time, one had more of a QH head [and probably a blaze under the makeup], and a third that they used mostly in the running scenes that winged a little on the left foreleg when on the left lead [and that's the one I wasn't sure of because I can't say for sure that it isn't one of the other two.] But there were at least two running styles and two head shapes. [My daughter says I'm no fun to go to a movie with.]

PD - awesome movie! Very funny, great cinematography, stellar cast. If you liked that, you'd probably like Don Juan de Marco, too. Depp (Don Juan) , Brando (his shrink), and Faye Dunaway - more beautiful ocean scenes, great dialogue, and Coppola produced. It's on video :-)
