I watched TAXI tonight. It was not bad. I thought it might be stupid by the previews, but it was interesting after all. Lots of car chases and a few funny parts in it.
Reporter, if I am not mixing up the jeepers creepers one and two, I believe that one is EVEN WORSE THAN TWO, I do not like superficial movies, I like things that are realistic and believable.. thats just me though.
Anyone see BIRTH yet? FOr some reason its not in alot of theatres.... I heard it was really horrible, so for that purpose im not going to waste my time travelling to another theatre to go see it, Ill just wait untill its out at blockbuster.....

If it's worse than two, it must be terrible because I think two really sucked!
I haven't seen Birth yet, not sure I want to. I do watch about any kind of movie (if I'm bored enough), but some of them are just so bad, I regret watching them afterwards.
I watched Troy. Brad Pitt was good. The movie was long and boring in some places, but for the most part, the story was good. I think they should have named the movie Achilles though. LOL
Went to see After The Sunset tonight ( Sunday ) for something to do. Didn't want to really go and see it but I have to say it was worth the $30 or so dollars I spent on admission and snacks. It had alot of hilarious parts in it, and had some action, it was just a perfect mix with perfect actors playing the perfect roles. I highly reccomend anyone going to see it. Its about jewel theives. GREEEEEEAT!
Godsend- saw it last night. I liked it a lot. It's pretty creepy and the ending leaves questions, maybe for a part two. Greg Kinnear and Deniro are awesome.
TOUCHING THE VOID = boring documentary (I didn't know it was a documentary- GRRHHH!!)
CLOSE YOUR EYES - gorey and lame, disappointing
THE PERFECT HUSBAND - boring, sucked big time
UNSPEAKABLE - started out wierd and had my interest for a little while, but it didn't make sense at all, stupid things that didn't add up and some pretty disgusting parts
THE NOTEBOOK - believable until the end, the ending was appropriate, but not believable
CHARLIE'S ANGELS FULL THROTTLE - too much unreal bull$hit, overboard on the effects--looked animated instead of real in a lot of the scenes. A big sack of horse$hit over all. Worse than the first one and it was bad enough. Good thing none of the women turned sideways; you wouldn't have seen them-they were so thin.
RAISE YOUR VOICE - dull, uninteresting, mostly sad and a lot of screwups. First off the guy practices this song he's supposedly writing on the piano and when he performs with Hilary Duff, he's playing a guitar and the song isn't even the one they practiced. A #10 in the Lame Dept. (And somebody told me she could actually sing - HA! I disagree.)
AFTER THE SUNSET - I liked that one. It's worth watching.

Mr Pit Bull, is Notebook out in Blockbuster or any other rental stores? I didn't think it was in theatres anymore considering it was out like during the summer. Just wondering because I wasnt able to catch it while it was in theatres and was anticipating watching it. I read the book and it was good, unrealistic in a way, but good...
Im glad you like After The Sunset, I thought it was awesome....
I went to see National Treasure, I thought it was going to be stupid and more for a younger audience since I heard its a Disney movie, but it was quite good, it kept me on the edge of my seat.. It was long and drawn out at a few parts, but the rest kept you really into it. I thought it was exciting....it was suspenseful, adventurous , ect...
Anyone see ELF? I thought I may rent that since the Holiday season is coming around the river bend hahah... Going out on black friday for the first time, woohoooooo...
anyway, I would also like to add to National Treasure, that the actors/actresses played there parts VERY well.
I watch a lot of older movies too, just depends on what kind of day I've had. A lot of movies I missed when they first came out, so if they sound halfway good, I try and get them. I do even rent movies occasionally.
For the most part, I don't think they make that many good movies these days. They all seem to get tired about halfway through making the movie and then they become pretty senseless by the ending. Bad writers or producers, maybe.
Ocean's 12 is coming out. I liked Ocean's 11, so I'm hoping 12 is good too.
I liked Catch Me if you Can and the Italian Job, the Score and most of those types of movies.

Wow, talk about old movies? I happen to LOVE old movies and I don't mean 10 year old movies. I mean 50 year old movies!!! I love the AMC channel and watch it in the wee hours of the morning. I'm obsessed with old Alfred Hitchcock movies in particular. I just watched Rear Window for the first time a few nights ago. I was gripped to the TV. Most people (my husband included) think I'm insane but I just love the old time movies. Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hephburn, etc...they fascinate me. I also love the "Little Rascals" shows. Call me crazy, but I would have loved to live back in those times. Everything was so innocent and pure.
