I haven't watched that movie, only parts of it. I may have to go and rent it.

I highly recommend it. Just make sure you have the tissues handy. I've tried to get my husband to watch it several times, but I think it's a bit to intellectual for him. LOL. Unless there is blood, guts, guns, boobs, and stupid Adam Sandler like antics, he doesn't like it. Needless to say, we don't watch much TV together.
But Schindler's List is an excellent movie. It's in black and white and that turns some people off, and it's rather long (over 3 hours I believe), but it's worth it.
My daughter got me the dvd for my birthday and every couple of months I watch it again. I still cry...

I am debating on that movie. In fact, I was going to rent it once, but it sounds sad. I don't do sad. Sad bores me and I've seen so many movies about the holocust (sp) that I generally stay away from them. I may watch it yet. If I do, I'll let ya know.

Adam Sandler is not on my list of fave actors. Some of his movies are just too stupid to even watch. He was pretty good in Anger Management though. Of course, Jack Nicholson made the movie.

I agree. Anger management has been the only movie of his that I could stomach. I just don't think he's funny AT ALL. He plays the same character, just a different title. My husband thinks he's hilarious. There are others we disagree on also. Their names escape me right now, guess because they are so forgettable to me. Bob has a very elementary level of humor..my standards are a bit (well, alot) higher than his. Like the guy who starred in Elf? Can't remember his name. NOT funny, he's stupid. Didn't like him on SNL either Will Farrell that's it.

Yep, most so called comedians aren't funny to me. I see other people laughing hysterically when I just think they are dumb as hell. I never thought acting stupid was funny, but that's just the way I am.
You know like Jeff Foxworthy and his pals. His movie was great. His weekly show sucks big time. I tried watching it twice--it was too stupid to describe. And the gravy scenes and when they were dressed up as babies in the back seat of a car were just disgusting. Not my idea of funny at all.

If you like comedy a good british film to get is saving grace. it is about an older british woman whose husband dies and leaves her broke so she resorts to growing cannibis as a way to get some money. on a more serious note have you seen the shipping news it is a good one. what types do you like?
I agree. The Blue Collar TV dvd was funny as hell, but I've tried watching the weekly show and I agree with you Mr. Pitt. Now that Larry the Cable Guy? He makes me laugh so hard I cry. But that's stand up. In an actual movie he may reek.
