THE INCREDIBLES: Great movie! Even though it's animated. I watched it 3 times in 2 days. Definitely one for the permanent collection. At least at my house.

FAT ALBERT: Cute, but had I been 12 I probably would have liked it much better.

Love The Incredibles too, Crystal. Have you seen Ice Age by any chance? Maybe it's been discussed on this thread---I haven't read it all. At any rate, hilarious movie, and wise to add to your collection for your grandson. Wink

FINDING NEMO: I know I'm the last person on the planet to watch this movie, but surprisingly, I liked it. Good for a kiddie movie.

LAWS OF ATTRACTION: It was pretty good. I knew everything that was going to happen. It's a great show for all of you romantics out there. Wink

THE DREAM TEAM: It's an older movie with Michael Keaton, but I was ROFLMAO half of the time. It was about some nutcases from the institution. Ya might say I could relate. rotflol

MAN OF THE HOUSE: I liked it. It was Tommy Lee Jones and some of it was pretty corny, but I always like Tommy Lee! He's da man!

MISS CONGENIALITY 2: It was okay, some parts were pretty funny. I liked the first one better.

Anyone know what suspect zero is about? Seed of Chucky is coming out, Im interested in seeing this, I don't have high expectations of it though.

Just watched A killer within- well it was okay, but it wasn't a mystery who was the killer at the end.

Has anyone seen Closer yet, with Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Natalie Portman?

I started watching it last night, but decided that I will finish it tonight. The damn time change has me all messed up! I could barely stay awake!

Anyway, so far, it's kind of a wierd movie. I was just wondering if it gets better!

I watched "the upside of anger" with Kevin Costner. It was pretty boring, but I guess the story turned out okay. Just not how I pictured Kevin Costner compared to most of his other movies I've seen.

It looked/sounded boring to me in the previews. How was it? Was it boring?

Dead Birds?
Well it was um... interesting..
They never really elaborated on anything, it ust went from one thing to another. It was okay.

Closer-haven't watched it, but it seems like one of those odd movies that are hard to keep up with.

Mr. Pit & Susie -

I finished watching it last night. At first, I was like, "what in the hell did I get this for" then as I watched more, it seemed to get kind of interesting. It is a very crude, and raunchy movie. So, if you are not into that, I wouldn't advise watching. As far as sex scenes, it doesn't show any, it's more of the language that's raunchy. I tend to be that way, so it kind of amused me to see that people were acting like this! There is a lot of infidelity, which I don't condone, but it does make for a good movie. I tend to like smut, so it was right up my alley. God, I am making myself sound like a huge freak!

As for being hard to follow, it kind of was at times, but it all made sense in the end.
All in all, I really ended up liking this movie, in a disturbing way. All of the actors did a great job in my opinion. Kind of surprised me that Natalie Portman played the character she played.

If either of you decide to watch it, let me know what you think!

Closer- oh my goodness labluvr, you shoulda screamed out at the top of your lungs that this movie was absolutely AWESOME!! U really can't get any better than this. I am absolutely stunned, impressed, blown right out of my socks. This movie was outstanding. Although it made me terribly depressed, I'll be feeling like this forever. DEEP

Labluvr- I dont know if I missed something, but what was up with the whole thing at the end when he goes back to that wall with names of people who have died and looks at the one with ayres lady about how she saved 3 people or something?

Here are some quotes from the movie Closer:

I know who you are. I love you. I love everything about you that hurts.

Ever seen a human heart? It looks like a fist wrapped in blood.- Ever think about it that way?

Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking off her clothes. - don't agree with it, but it was funny.

Where is this "love"? I can't see it, I can't touch it. I can't feel it. I can hear it. I can hear some words, but I can't do anything with your easy words. - love this one.

You don't know the first thing about love, because you don't understand compromise.

Try lying for a change, it's the currency of the world.

If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking.

If you believe in love at first sight... Take a closer look.

If you remember any that you liked, add them.

LOL Susie!! I watched it again last night with the boyfriend. The part you are talking about...remember in the beginning of the movie when he meets Alice and they are standing outside by that wall? She says her name is Alice Ayres, but they don't show that stone thing with the name on it. She was totally bullshitting him. Her real name is Jane Jones, which we find out at the end of the movie. She is just a troubled girl on the move.
