It was interesting, I loved Nicole Kidman's accent. She was phenomenal like always. I felt the movie was a little slow and boring at times, but overall it was an okay movie. I would give it a solid B.
BIRTH- It was interesting, but I wasn't really in to it. I was kinda sickened by the plot. I mean their scenes with him and her in a shower and kissing and such. No wonder why they didn't play it in theatres around my area. Its like child molestation right in front of you for your viewing pleasure. Then at the end, there were some loose ends that they never ended up tieing. I had alot of questions after the movie that should have been answered. It was weird.
Amityville Horror- It was actually surprisingly good. I didn't have high expectations. If anyone saw this, and saw the older versions, please share what one you thought was better. This is the first time seeing any of the versions.

I plan to see this one this week....i loved the original. Never cared for the sequel, but i hear this remake of the first one is really good.
Sideways was one of those movies that you love or hate. I happened to really like it, but i happen to love dark comedies. I am not really sure i would even categorize it as a comedy. More of a drama with some humor tossed in.
Also have The Interpretator on my list.
Has anyone seen Million Dollar Babies yet?
Ray, by far, has been the best film I've seen all year. Jamie Foxx was incredible. I never realized what a multi talented young man he was.

I agree about "Ray", DC. Love it. I watched it 3 times in 4 days. I was really happy when Jamie Foxx won the academy award for it. He was truly incredible, and like you, never realized just how talented he was. Haven't yet seen the other ones you mentioned.
Watched Meet the Fockers last night. It was hilarious. Robert Deniro was born to play that role. I was concerned in a few spots that it started to veer off into the "cheesy" side, but it recovered itself before it got too far.

I watched it the other night and I was surprised at how good it was. When it was in the theatres, I had no interest in seeing it, but I saw the previews again, and it was out on video. My b/f wanted to rent it, so I caved. I liked it.
Tonight I plan on watching Bridget Jones, the egde of reason, or whatever it's called.

Watched Bridget Jones. It was funny. A bit hard to understand what they were saying due to the heavy accents. We did have to rewind it a few times. I didn't think it was as good as I was hoping for it to be.
