I haven't read through all the threads on this forum, so this might have been discussed before now. If so, forgive me.

Since it is almost the "witching hour" I would like to know your honest opinion on this movie. I know that it got rave reviews and was called the scariest movie, etc. But, I thought it was the most boring movie ever.

I was so hyped up to see this movie when it came out in the theater. I was still waiting for the "big bang" as I watched the credits roll. As I left the theater a man asked, "Isn't that the biggest waste of money on a movie?" I laughed because I was thinking the exact same thing. I went home and told my sons that I could have loaned them the camcorder and they could have made the same movie in the woods near our house.

Was I the only one disappointed? Or, did I just miss something? A fan of the movie tried to tell me that it appealed to people that liked to have something left to the imagination. Well, I love to read and that requires a lot of imagination. But, I couldn't find anything scary about the Blair Witch Project - just out of focus scenes of the ground, woods, and screaming young people.

I agree with your opinion of this movie. Then they came out with the part 2 which I never watched.
I didn't see the point of the movie and I wasn't scared and it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Oh sure, there was one tiny little part when you thought you were going to get to see something, but then you didn't and they left you hanging with the ending. I hate movies like that. It had to be very low budget too. I have a lot of imagination but i should have just taken a nap instead of watching 2 hours on that movie. lol
