Really? I thought it was a bit much with the karate stuff all the time. It has a better story line in kill bill 2 and the part with the snake is okay. It wasn't terrible, just not what I expected it to be and too much exxageration in the karate choreographies. I guess I'm more into realistic fighting scenes. I know, I know, it's all fantasy because it's just showbiz folks. LOL
I agree about the exaggerated fight scenes, but that's Quentin Tarentino for you. ALL of his movies have a bit of "spoof" in them somewhere. That's his style. I really like his movies but I agree, they can be a bit cheesy in spots.

You know, I liked Reservoir Dogs. It was the first time I noticed Michael Madsen as an actor after he played in Thelma and Louise. Some of his acting stinks, but I still like most of his movies. I think Quentin did Reservoir Dogs and even played a little part in it.
Reservoir Dogs is one of mine and my daughter's favorite movies..actually we have a rather large DVD collection that we both contributed to and last month when she moved to Mississippi we actually had a little tiff over who got to keep it (she won)! So it's funny you mentioned that one. And yes he did play a small role in it. Did you know that he does the same thing that Alfred Hitchcock always did and that is to make an appearance (sometimes as a background character even) in every movie he's made. You may have to watch closely, but he's there even if it's only for a few seconds.
