Fear of the Dark

It might be scary for kids to watch. Not me. I liked the bad guys..hehe. Well, it was hokey. It started out okay, wierd, but the ending was too cliche. I was getting tired of waiting for something to happen in this movie.

I sat down and watched Cold Creek Manor the other night. I thought it was pretty good. Parts of it were predictable but all and all a good movie.

I started watching Hidalgo and I feel asleep on Viggo. Can you believe that? Ohhh...man!! I'll never live it down.
Anyway, when I get a slow Sunday, I'll try watching it again. (get the hint) and I'll post my review.

How is Hidalgo? I'm in love with the horse, man, what a loud paint(color of the horse)! Not much for Viggo, but sounds like a good movie, let us know Sally!

I saw Cold Creek Manor too, and I liked it except when the pony was deadFrown. I agree with PA, interesting.

I watched "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson. (like how I worded that? hehehe)

It was interesting. I didn't fall asleep on it. It had some bloody parts in it, but it was war.

It was touching in parts as well.

I might as well face it folks, this is the only way I'll ever learn my history. lmao

I watched the Alamo. I thought it would be better. It was okay, but I don't think I'd watch it again. The depiction was disappointing.

Hellboy--not all it was cracked up to be.
I thought it would have more special effects.
I really wasn't impressed at all.

Van Helsing, I watched last night. It would have made a great cartoon.
I have to admit that I liked the flying vampire women, but the whole story was out in left field.
I thought it would be a story about Van Helsing, not every monster they could squeeze into the story.
It could have been better. Like I said, it would have made a great cartoon.
Anyone notice how in some parts, Frankenstein wasn't very big at all? lmao

I watched Mystic River and although I figured out the ending early on, I must say the content was a little disappointing. It was the type of movie that basically once you've seen it, well, you really don't want to see it again. All in all, the movie itself is okay, just different than I expected it to be.

Last night my husband and I went and saw Dodgeball. Not bad, but if anyone goes to the movies to see it you should stay and watch what plays after the credits. That was funny. We were the only people still in the theater by the time it played.

I just had to mention that my boy George is related to the black dane in the movie.

I really enjoyed that movie too, Rayna's Poms. It was a good choice when we rented it. I'd love to see it again, now that I'm thinking about it. Smile
