Why did the US classified Iran within countries in the axis of devil??

let me know yr opinions..

because they want to have biological weapons "as our government says"..

USA governmnet forgot that the USA has the most developed biological weapons in the world. Besided, Iran didn't use any forbidden weapons in their past wars but we did!!

Basically, we should be in the "axis of devil" rather than Iran...

First off:

It's the "axis of EVIL" not the devil.

Second:

They were included because they support terrorists groups and their activites, not just because of biological weapons.

Third:

It is because of this past use (I'm assuming you mean 'Agent Orange' here) that we know from experience the use of such weapons can have devastating ramifications for EVERYONE that countries who support such terrorists should not develop or posssess these weaspons. Saddam is a prime example.

First, thanks for correcting the mistake trinity..

Second, Iran doesn't support any terrorist groups.. Iran doesn't support neither Osama bin Ladne nor Israel.. While the USA does support Israel in their occupation.

Third, there is no way to comapre between Sadam and Iran.. Iran is a democratic country while Sadam is a head of a dictatoric regime that his people doesn't want him as a leader.. (and here I would like to mention that the US government has supported Saddam in the past years. First, when his people tried to kick him off and second in the First Gulf war against Iran).

you need to read your history rather than quote it... we didnt support saddam as much as we hated Iran for what they did to the hostiges and where afraid taht if iran won the war it would destabalize the region... but that was war... what saddam did to the kirds was brutal and beyaond reason... its called genocide... our was trusting saddam... but he is now history... so on to the only and the biggest issue left in the middle east... the palestinian / jewish question... we have walked a fine line on that question, and it has been our inability to stand firm and demand that palastinians be treated fairly that has lead to this insanity... Bush does need to make the hard decisions on this issue. NO MORE AID FOR ISREAL IF THE DONT GET OUT OF THE TERRETORIES AND STAY OUT ...period.

As for insane idiots like saddam...never again.

There is a question as to whether IRAN is democratic when it doesnt allow freedom of thought and the ability for anyone to profer up new ideas and express those ideas openly unless they are islamic in origin... without the fear of being thrown in prison or killed... whats democratic about that... you need to go back to college and take some political science courses... because your ideas of democracy are warped. Heres a question... If everyone is forced to think the same without having to suffer retrobution is that democratic... of course not... it is the ability to decent that really offers the proof of real democracy... thats why i admire the anti-war demonstaters... cause they prove to the world that true democracy exists in america... although i happen to support the war on this one.

thanks for replying and for your intresting points but I have several points that I would like to point out.

First,
You said that the US government hated Iran because it was afraid that if Iran won they will destablize the region. That's why they supported Saddam during the war against Iran.

At this point, I would like to say that the US was wrong. That is becasue Iran didn't destablize the region rather Saddam DID destablize the region by invading Kuwait and ,as you said, causing genocide crimes on his own people.

Furthermore, why do you think the USA is sure that Saddam has biological weapons???
I think it is becasue the United States was the one which provided those types of forbidden weapons to Saddam to use it against Iran.

I don't know about the chemical weapons, it seems like the U.S. could of provided a war head that could have reached Iran with ease. I don't believe they were ever used against Iran, correct me if I am wrong.
