I agree. Just because we are the worlds greatest superpower, does it mean we should use our might to blast our way around the world when we could be using it instead to further peace.

I am in awe of how incredible our military is. True heroes in any sense. I am in awe how evil our government is. True villans.

Shame on all of you for bashing our President. He did what was right. I support him 100%. Haven't you been paying attention to the reason for the War on Iraq!? "Whereas Iraq remains in material and unacceptable breach of its international obligations by, among other things, continuing to possess and develop a significant chemical and biological weapons capability, actively seeking a nuclear weapons capability, supporting and harboring terrorist organizations..........The president is authorized to use all means that he determines to be appropriate, including force in order to enforce the United Nations Security Council Resolutions and, defend the national security interests of the United States against the threat posed by Iraq, and restore international peace and security in the region. (Excerpt, September 19,2002, proposed congressional resolution, known as the "Further Resolution on Iraq") That does not even cover the horrifying brutal crimes that Saddam and his followers have committed. The gruesome torture chambers where thousands of Iraq citizens were tortured. I'm proud to be an American! I am thankful that I and every single American have the freedom to worship how, where or what we may. It is a relief that only approximately 20% of Americans protested this war. Shame Shame on you!! Would you like to reserve a flight to Syria? I hear Saddam is possibly hiding out there!

Right on, Bush is great, he has the balls to stand up to these guys, and it is not like our country was not dragged into this Middleast terrorist crap. They opened up Pandoras box when they brought it to US soil. I could give a shit how many suicide bombings go on over there til it comes here or hurts our people abroad. We are dealing with a Medievil mentality over there.

truely sad are the casulties of war, all countries have paid prices like this over the decades, centuries. It makes me ill, but is a reality. The casulties caused by the pure evil of the Hussein regime would have greatly outnumbered the ones cause by the liberation.

You war protesters think that you are going to change someones opinion by posting those sick pictures. You should be ashamed of yourself. Think of all the precious lives that have been saved! What a blessing that Iraq children now have a chance to enjoy the blessings that we take for granted in America! Freedom! No more oppression! No more living in terror! How tragic that some innocent Iraq children and adults were injured or killed, but those numbers are few as compared to the lives that have been spared. Think of all the innocent children who were used as shields by the followers of " The Butcher of Bagdad"! What about that?! What about all the children that were dragged from their homes and right from the arms of their parents, and executed because their fathers or brothers would not fight!? Little children were decapitated and their little bodies were thrown in barbage cans by the wicked followers of Saddam. God is in control of the universe. He is aware of every precious life that has been lost, and he is aware of all the lives that have been spared. I only wish we would have gone over there sooner and spared the lives of the poor innocent Iraq people who were tortured and executed for such crimes as praying in public!

The U.S. Oil contracts with the middle east expire 2005.

Is there at least one smart person on this board willing to admit this was a war about oil.

If the U.S. wanted to "liberate" an oppressed people, how about Palestine?

These children got their arms and legs blown off and their torso's scorched in the name of our thirst for their oil.

Please stop it with the ignorance already. Confused

The war is for oil, they need our money for oil just as bad as we need the oil, it is a 2 way street as far as that goes

If we didn't take any of the oil they make it would be a buyers market and the price would go down, The revenue they are gaining from oil would be gone in other words us being in there for the oil is not a very good argument

when the Iraqi government put children in places where they knew the U.S. would be bombing, they became responsible for their deaths. Should America allow people to continue to stay in power by not attacking them because they use depraved war tactics?

If people would do a little research and listen to the whole story they would see that this has nothing to do with making things right in the middle east. This is all about oil and covering up some major screw ups from Reagan and Bush Sr. Considering they are the ones that supplied Hussien with his weapons and complete line up of deadly diseases! This whole thing has been a joke since day one. I agree Hussien is a loser but this was about Bin Laden and what he did. Then one day good old Saddam had to come out and pull Bush's chain and Osama was forgotten and the enemy was again Hussien. This war has never been for the right reasons. It may be helping a great cause but did not begin and was never about the people of Iraq it is about power, money, and cover ups!

Things in Presidency don't always happen in real time it is all the trash from the President before they have to deal with!! Take for instance CLINTON, SCARY!!! This mess would not be going on right now if he would not have sat back on his @#$ having affairs, etc. You liberals are NUTS, go back and get an EDUCATION!!!

Still no Weapons of Mass destruction found in IRAQ.

So, what was that war and all the carnage all about? It was supposed to be about finding all the WMD. Don't you think we should be more positive about the existence of this stuff before we blow up a country and its people?

I have no time for cowards(especially wimpy liberal males) in this country who believe in speaking softly and choose to live their lives in fear because terrorists and tyrants who sponsor them. There are injustices that go on in this country for one! Number two: How about the families who lost loved ones on in Twin Towers,Pentagon and the Oklahoma City bombing which Iraq sponsored! Take out the terror in this world or choose to live with it? No way in HELL! Daisy cutters rule!!!! Isalm is a religion of piece! Pieces of buildings, cars, commercial airlines and pieces of human body parts!
