In a way i agree with you but on the other hand i dont. I wounder why we jumped on saddam without even finding bin ladin...but think about it...who supplied bin ladin with his guns ect. Did he just pull them from his ass um NO!!! Saddam i belive should have been delt with back in 91. I tottaly saport the war. I am aginst saddam in every way shape and form. He thinks hes a god which...um...excues me but god dose not beat him people down for fun....he dose not hide when im the face of a conflict. I belive bin ladin and saddam are just two people who want attention and want to run everything...but when someone fights back...where are they they are hiding underground like cowards...no they are cowards who just need to die...its that simple....its all about power. which they will never have!! I have family and loved ones over there right now fighting for justice!!! I also dont know why we just dont bomb the whole place.. yea the inocent people there...but how many of them are dedicated followers of saddam??? almost all right!!!!!! YES!!!!!

This is exactly what Osama Bin Laden Wanted. He wanted a worldwide Jihad and he is laughing all the way to his cave.

Is anyone watching CNN right now. The calvalry is crossing the Iraqi desert with reporters inside the M1A1 Abrams Tanks. Women are flying the helicopters out in front and are the front-most line of offense in the battle. This is HISTORY in the making! I still don't agree with the war, but man is this a historic moment in time.
Thank God not everyone is stupid! I completely agree with you breakdown, but try explaining that to the rest of the bushwashed population!
My prayers are with the soldiers and the families, especially those who gave their lives for their country. I still do not support a war, but now that we are there, I hope it ends quickly. I hope when it is over that the U.N. takes action against the terrorist hiding among us. Because I believe Bush acted as a terrorist, he did not do everything possible to resolve this peacefully. Come on people, if some country told the U.S. to completely disarm while threatening to blow us up the whole time, would you listen?
Yes, lovelyrita, this is a historic moment. Especially for those who lost their mother, father, brother, sister, lover, husband, wife....

"...the President continues to hope that this can be settled in the most peaceful way possible. And the use of force is being pursued to help make this get settled in the most peaceful way possible." -- Ari Fleischer, in a press briefing, 3/21/03 (Transcript) - wka
WE just dropped 1500 BOMBS on BAGDAD, now thats PEACEFUL.

THIS WAR DOES HAVE TO DO WITH 9/11.9/11 HAS TO DO WITH BIN LADEN.BINLADEN HAS TO DO WITH HUSSEIN.HUSSEAIN HAS TO BE STOPPED.HE TORTURES HIS OWN PEOPLE FOR FUN.HE AIDS IN TERRORISM.NO ONE LIKES WAR.IT IS A NECCESARY EVIL.DO YOU THINK HE WANTS THIS OR ANY WAR,DUUU NO.YOU KNOW,NO ONE HELPS AMERICA WITH ANY TROUBLE OR DISASTER OR ANYTHING.AMERICA HELPS ANY OTHER COUNTRY WITH ANYTHING HOW ABOUT YOU SUPPORT YOU R OWN COUNTRY OR IF YOU DONT LIKE AMERICA HOW ABOUT YOU MOVE TO IRAQ AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING THERE.I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN.I AM PROUD THAT WE HAVE MEN AND WOMEN READY WILLING AND ABLE TO HELP FIGHT AND STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT.THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA DESERVES THE UTMOST RESPECT FROM US ALL.THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR YOU TO PROTECT YOU FOR OUR FREEDOM AND FREEDOM FOR OTHERS.NON SUPPORTERS OF AMERICA SHOULD LEAVE THE COUNTRY AND LIVE IN IRAQ OR SOME OTHER NONFREDOM COUNTRY THEN LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKE IT.ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO PLACE THEIR RIGHT HAND OVER THEIR HEART TO PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG,WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR FREEDOM,WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SOLDIERS PUTTING THEIR LIFE IN JEUPARDY FOR US DOES NOT DESERVE TO LIVE IN AMERICA.AND THATS THE BEUATY OF AMERICA YOU ARE ALOWED TO HAVE YOUR OPPION.BUT DONT DEGRADE AN AMERICAN SOLDIER OR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.YOU HAVE THE FREEDOM TO NOT LIVE HERE WHY DONT YOU EXERSISE THAT FREEDOM.WHAT IF THE NEXT TERRORIST ATTACKS HAPPENS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WHAT WOULD YOU DO, O THATS OK BECAUSE I DONT WANT WAR.THATS OK BECAUSE I DONT NEED PROTECTION FROM AN AMERICAN SOLDIER.HOW ABOUT YOU PUT YOUR NONSUPPORTING SELF IN THE FRONT LINE OF THIS WAR AND DO AMERICA A FAVOR.WHY DONT YOU STAND UP FOR YOUR OWN.IF ITS NOT AMERICA THEN TAKE THE NEXT FLIGHT OUT,O BUT HOPE THAT THERE IS NOT A TERRORIST ON THE PLANE!!!
Amen LAURAANN!! You are sooo right. Everyone who thinks freedom isnt worth fighting for, go somewhere that you arent free and see if you really like it. With this war, we are not only fighting for the freedom of the oppressed in Iraq, but for our own freedom. The freedom to get on a plane and not have to worry if there is a terrorist on your plane. And for those of you who dont think Saddam supports terrorist, you obviously dont know what is going on. There have found ACTUAL terrorist training camps IN IRAQ! What other proof do you need? For Saddam, himself, to high-jack a plane?
OK guys, whether we support/like/agree with President Bush has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not we are Americans. And I have not heard one peep from anyone that we do not support our soldiers!! Whether we believe in war, or not, we will always be there for our soldiers. They are our brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, lovers and friends...even if we do not know these people, they are still in every American's heart!!
Please quit telling us to move to Iraq, ok? It's getting a little redundant. The beauty of this country is that we are allowed our opinions and the freedom to speak those opinions. Just because we do not believe in war, does not mean that we do not believe in our country! Many of us do not support war because we are afraid. Afraid for our families, our soldiers, our country, and our future. It is great that America feels the need to protect other countries from terrorism, oppression, and poverty. Why don't we take care of our own as well? There are plenty of abused, homeless, and starving children and people in our lovely country. Why don't we spend the money we will use to rebuild Iraq to rebuild the U.S.?

Kari, you have to remember we are not only fighting this war to free the Iraqi people, we are fighting it to protect our country. I know many people dont believe that Saddam had anything to do with 9-11 (I dont know if you are one of them), but even if he didnt, he is still a threat. He has weapons that could kill hundreds of thousands, and even if he hasnt used them against the US before, he could, at any time. He has terrorist training camps in Iraq, and he has a deep hatred for Americans. All these things add up to a potental disaster to the US. It is just not a chance I am willing to take. I HATE war myself, and wish there was another way, but there isnt. We gave Saddam a chance to disarm, he knew what was coming, and HE desided to go to war.
I have seen people degrade an american soldier before with my own two eyes. Not everyone supports the war ,the president or the soldiers.being afraid is one thing but actually causeing riots and fighting the police and trashing the place is another.peolpe that have a problem with their country for one reason or another try to find a way out,but people can have a problem with the US and stay.
I am sure Saddam had a hand in 9/11, although we cannot claim that he supplied weapons since they used our own airplanes against us. I also believe he should be stopped, although I am not sure if we are going about it the right way. Especially considering all of the "self-inflicted" casualties.
I support our soldiers and no one should degrade them for doing their duty and protecting our country. Just as no one should degrade Iraqi soldiers for protecting their country, whether it deserves their loyalty or not. I have heard plenty of bad things about Pres. Bush, but we did elect him, and those who didn't vote only have theirselves to blame. Even though I don't always agree with his views (I am Dem.) I think he is a much better President than Gore could ever have been. riff, thankfully no one has ever degraded an American soldier in my presence. Because if they did, I would gladly tell them where to go, and it wouldn't be Iraq!

Nothing to do with 9/11? Get your head out of the sand! The whole world knows how Saddam is and how he 'takes care' of his people. He has played with the United Nations since the Gulf War and would be continuing to do so, if Bush had not kept his word and did what he said he would do: Go in and get him. As I said in another post: Saddam is a threat to the WORLD, not just America. We are just the convenient "infidel" for him. We are the ONLY nation on this planet who is willing to do something about this creature. And that is another thing that pisses ME off: We are the ones that other countries look to for help when they need it. Then they turn their backs on us afterward. Frankly, I'm sick of it. I support our troops wholeheartedly. My son is a Marine, who at this time is still at Camp Pendleton, and my nephew, a private in the Army is waiting to be deployed, if he hasn't already. I come from a family of people who have served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. I'm just glad we have the people who are willing to serve our country, in peace AND wartime, to preserve the freedoms we enjoy everyday. And those people who think that freedom is free...are just idiots who know nothing!
TRINITY I THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAMILY THAT HAS HELPED PROTECT AMERICA AND ITS PEOPLE.I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR THE AMERICAN SOLDIER.MAYBE IF SOME OF THOSE ANTI WAR PEOPLE HELPED IT WOULD GET MORE DONE.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND GOD BLESS THE USA
Thank you, LauraAnn, for your kind words and support.
I am very sad tonight because of the deaths of 10 Marines who were ambushed today. But death in war is expected. That is what war is. Once again, as during the Vietnam War, it is in our living rooms and can't be avoided. But I am strong and should my son or nephew become a casulty, I will be griefstriken. After all, I'm only human. But they will have served their country honorably, not at the hands of strangers in drive-by shootings, or a horrible accident or from a terminal disease or any of the dangers of life today. Not that I would consider them martyrs or anything like that. I would certainly rather that it not happen. But they are both soldiers in the finest military in the world and stand ready to defend the freedoms that this country was founded on and that we enjoy today.
I think some of these people forget that many of the people who despise America do not like that we have the freedoms we have. And would like NOTHING BETTER than to see it taken away from us. And would use a religious war to justify it.
I think you (the minority) is the one who is brainwashed. You don't need to believe for 1 second that our deaths on 9/11 isn't directly linked to Iraq and Bin Ladin. You also need to realize that further attacks are coming if we do not act now. You can call the facts when they smack you in the face as B/S but don't worry the rest of us will protect you to continue on your silly beliefs. Don't worry george, I do not expect you or anyone else to protect me. No one can be "protected" from the dangers of everyday life. I am sorry if I offended anyone. It was spoken in the heat of the moment, and I still believe Bush is a better Pres. than Gore could ever have been. But that doesn't mean I have to like or agree with him at all times. This does not mean that I do not support our country or our soldiers!
The attack on the World Trade Center was an attack on the WORLD. Why is it that only the U.S. responded to this attack? Where is the rest of the world when we need them? I understand that the U.S. is the keeper of the world, that's great, but I can't help but get a little sick of it when all the other countries do is spit on us, turn their backs, blow us up, or all of the above.

People, do we really want to prosylitize about this war? No war is good. Period. The sad fact is, however, that sometimes war is a necessary evil. The thing that must be remembered about it is that it is always easier when quick. Sort of like removing a bandage...
To that end I suggest not worrying overmuch about the so-called innocents who may suffer as a result of colateral damage. Keep on mind that these same people have allowed Saddam Husein to remain in power even after showing the world how evil he truly is. End this war quickly so as to save as many allied lives as possible. SPEND NOT ONE COALITION LIFE NEEDLESSLY, BUT DESTROY THE BAGDAD REGIME UTTERLY AND WITHOUT MERCY. As a matter of fact I, personally, am getting closer to thinking that a nuke may be in order.
Oh, yeah, while I'm at it let me remind everyone that America is NOT the only country involved here. England and Australia also have troops in Iraq. Funny when you think about it that the only ones willing to put it on the line are "Mother England" and her two bastard offspring...
And, for God's sake, take a lesson from Vietnam and support our fighting men and women! Don't let our kids come home to what faced me after Vietnam... Please, please, please don't let that happen.
