I dont understand how he is getting so many votes! I have never heard of him before this. If he wins no way he can beat McCain.

I have never seen so many people willing to judge someone from this type of junk.
Obama is NOT a Muslim, never has been (even though we believe in freedom of or from religion in this country). He was NOT sworn in on the Koran but the bible and does salute the flag and say the pledge of allegiance. He did not go to a Muslim school as a child. He did go to good schools but worked hard and got scholarships and student loans to attend them.
Fear has run this country into the ground and its about time we wake up and stand up to the bull we are being fed and gladly eating. How many billions does the country have to give to the corporate friends of the GOP before we say enough.
The GOP knows how to play your fears of the "scary" man and it will only get worse.
Read for yourself about the candidates from non-partisan sites if you can find them. If you want to vote GOP go ahead, but please do it because you believe in their policies and not the smear and fear junk they use to get a vote.

You may or may not think much of the Canadian voice on your politics, but "three cheers" for you! Obama is what the USA needs. He did work his way through schools, no silver spoon in his mouth. He appears to be a God fearing man, which in the US is to many, imperative it seems. I believe, and I have followed the elective process in the US since this began, that Obama will do wonders for the USA.

Well I hope to GOD (literally) you are right ... and this is not about fear -- this is about common sense. It is what you do with your life, who you are on the INSIDE that defines your contribution to society and whether or not you have any reason to feel good about yourself or the life you have lived.
Again, the fact that Obama has a spiritual teacher who professes this type of separatist doctrine is NOT a good sign.
I find him phoney and not at all trustworthy. Hillary is a ridiculous SHREW and they are both extremely liberal -- be sure to look into their voting records!
McCain is rather a relic and not exactly Mr. Charismatic. But at least he is NOT OBAMA OR HILLARY and that's basically his best feature IMO!

He says the pledge of allegiance when HE WANTS to. He doesn't say it when he is supposed to. That says a lot in my opinion. I agree with my family on this one, I don't want a president that only does a half-assed job.

AGREED! Obama has NO experience in ANYTHING even CLOSE to resembling running a government or leading people in crisis! Who has shown more love for and sacrificed more for this country and shown what they are made of more than McCain!?! He has been long known even in his own party as a Maverick ... as is Palin! Perfect? No. FAR FAR SUPERIOR to the other choice? YOU BET!!!
So much nonsense ... the democrats run an ad picturing McCain and Palin saying "same old same old" - WHAT? A woman running as VP is same old same old? How about the fact the Obama had a chance to pick a woman running mate (whose policies I am opposed to but not the point) and instead he chose a long time senator who is part of the good ol' boy Washington network and has been for many many years? Now BIDEN is same old same old!!!
Obama truly is ZERObama - as in ZERO necessary experience and ZERO necessary attributes and character that we need as our COMMANDER IN CHIEF. He could not even vote yes or no when given the chance to do! Instead he voted "present" -- "present" is NOT enough to lead a country! Being slick and charismatic is not even CLOSE to enough and what this country needs to lead us into the future!!! He has NEVER done anything as in ZERO, ZILCH, NADA to make a difference or sacrificed for his country -- that can certainly not be said of McCain or Palin! He has been much more interested in writing his memoirs and promoting his own agenda!
And Obama's wife is only "proud" of her country FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER because HER husband is running as President? That's DISGUSTING!

I just won't vote this election because I don't like either Obama or McCain. And I hate Palin. I read a very interesting article about her yesterday on another forum. I think everyone should read it.

Well think about it Eva...isn't that what they ALL do around election time. It's nothing but propaganda..no doubt started by the Democrats. I absolutely hate election time. They will do and/or say anything they can about their opponents to cast them in a bad light. You just can't believe everything you read.
Same with Obama and all this crap about him being a muslim. I don't believe that for one second. Now is he my choice? NO..but I still don't believe about 80 percent of what is written about him.
It's par for the course. I am surprised you aren't reading articles about her clubbing baby seals. You just have to take this stuff with a grain of salt.

I do respect your opinion, now with that said. any one and everyone can easily go to the Senate website and look at his track record in voting on important issues. Sorry but the President is NOT ALLOW TO VOTE PRESENT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
I do not listen to the rumor mills, I watch C-SPAN and go to the Senate and Congress websites to get my information. You can even go to the Illinois Senate Website to see his record there too.
Tid bit. He blocked a vote in the Illinois senate on two occasions on the issue of LIVE BIRTH ABORTION. FACT!
To get into the Illinois Senate was an interesting feat for him. Did you know that the Sitting Senator at the time was going to run for something else and suggest Obama run in her place. She helped him set it all up and got him started. Then when she decided she did want her Senate seat and started to run again, Obama didn't step aside. Nor did he run fairly against her or anyone else on the ticket. He found anything he could against them and slowly but surely got them all knocked off the ticket before the election even started so he then became the only person running for that senate seat on the Democrate ticket. He pulled similar stuff with the U.S. Senate seat he now holds.
So I ask myself. What is the chance that Edwards bowed out of the Race because Obama was holding that affair over his head which now is in the open. And why did Hillary drop out of a race that she could still have won with her super deligates??? And why all of a sudden is Hillary and Bill campaigning for him and yet neither of them are looking happy about it and to add to that, why are they both looking so old and warn out lately? Hillary looks so thin right now. With all the skeltons in the Clinton Closed ya have to wonder if Obama is rattling a few!
Anyone watch C-SPAN lately with the energy crisis and all? Anyone notice that the price of gas has tripled since Jan 2007 when the Democrates took Majority in the House and Senate?
How about the fact that all of a sudden Russia is banging on his neighbors doors bullying them around and making tough gestures toward U.S. Seems to me that Obama running his flap about how weak and poor the U.S. is right now with the Dems in the House and Senate daily supporting these claims, it is causing our enemies to feel superior to us again. They know damn well that if Obama gets in He doesn't have the go nads to come up against them. Oh he will surely sit down to tea with them and talk about it!!! PLZ
We need real change and reform! Not Obama words! That man talks out both sides of his mouth and never ever answers the questions directly. He has an evil smile and shifty eyes too.

I am not worried about McCain dying early, for goodness sake look at his 96 year old mother, she looks healthier then Hillary does these days.
McCain won't play games with the Senate or the House. He has a Veto pen and is not afraid to use it and Palin has a history of using hers too. You want to survive the next four years? I strongly suggest you get the real facts from the history of the votes. I suggest you vote McCain/Palin.
Obama is the last thing that the USA needs. A vote for Obama is just putting the nails in our coffin.
Oh ya, we need more Republicans in the House and Senate too. The run away spending is going to get way worse if it isn't stopped this year. Did you know that every child born today carry's with its own birth a $500,000 debt.
I watched and understand the CBO's budget report. Since Dems have taken Majority in the House and Senate our National debt has tripled. You can only place 240.000 billion of the 470.000 billion debt onto the wars overseas The rest is pork that they keep slipping into each bill they pass.
Oh and Obama stated in his interview tonight that "yes he will grow goverment and ya it will cost us but....." LOL Big Brother will be watching sooner then you all think with Obama!

LOL which news channel were you watching. CNN and MSNBC and all NBC affiliates, most of you magazines and newspapers are all bias. The properganda over Sarah Palin albeit fun to watch is just that Properganda.
There was a guy that went onto a blog and wrote that Sarah believes that dinosaurs lived 4,000 years ago. He was later on a News station and said point blank "I got up that morning and thought that up along with several other things I wrote and put it out there just because"
And even with this guys admission that the story was fake, Matt Damon {the actor} goes on national TV saying he needs to know if it is true. What the heck is this idiot doing believing crap in cyberspace. I though actors were smarter then that, I guess I was wrong.

I have been listening to both guys and I now support Obama! I think we need somemone like him to help our country if McCain is elected it will just be the same as it has been.

Iknow, I know... I'm Canadian..but right from the beginning, Obama seemed to me like the best man for President of the USA..(check my post..lol)
McCain is 79, had 2 or 3 heart bypass surgeries.., so ..if anything happens to him, God forbid, but Palin become's President..Yikes!!
Obama doesn't have the charisma that McCain has, he is somewhat boring..but charisma fools a lot of people. Obama, is Obama..what you see is what you get! He's an intelligent man too and will bust his *ss for America.

To get into the Illinois Senate was an interesting feat for him. Did you know that the Sitting Senator at the time was going to run for something else and suggest Obama run in her place. She helped him set it all up and got him started. Then when she decided she did want her Senate seat and started to run again, Obama didn't step aside. Nor did he run fairly against her or anyone else on the ticket. He found anything he could against them and slowly but surely got them all knocked off the ticket before the election even started so he then became the only person running for that senate seat on the Democrate ticket. He pulled similar stuff with the U.S. Senate seat he now holds. So I ask myself. What is the chance that Edwards bowed out of the Race because Obama was holding that affair over his head which now is in the open. And why did Hillary drop out of a race that she could still have won with her super deligates??? And why all of a sudden is Hillary and Bill campaigning for him and yet neither of them are looking happy about it and to add to that, why are they both looking so old and warn out lately? Hillary looks so thin right now. With all the skeltons in the Clinton Closed ya have to wonder if Obama is rattling a few! Anyone watch C-SPAN lately with the energy crisis and all? Anyone notice that the price of gas has tripled since Jan 2007 when the Democrates took Majority in the House and Senate? How about the fact that all of a sudden Russia is banging on his neighbors doors bullying them around and making tough gestures toward U.S. Seems to me that Obama running his flap about how weak and poor the U.S. is right now with the Dems in the House and Senate daily supporting these claims, it is causing our enemies to feel superior to us again. They know damn well that if Obama gets in He doesn't have the go nads to come up against them. Oh he will surely sit down to tea with them and talk about it!!! PLZ We need real change and reform! Not Obama words! That man talks out both sides of his mouth and never ever answers the questions directly. He has an evil smile and shifty eyes too. Never the less, Palin has him a befuddled anyways. Poor guy isn't looking so good himself these days. Funny how Palin our VP pick has way more substantial experience then their Presidential pick. Ya McCain has had a few issues with skin cancer, but for goodness sake Biden has had TWO aneurysm's. I am not worried about McCain dying early, for goodness sake look at his 96 year old mother, she looks healthier then Hillary does these days. McCain won't play games with the Senate or the House. He has a Veto pen and is not afraid to use it and Palin has a history of using hers too. You want to survive the next four years? I strongly suggest you get the real facts from the history of the votes. I suggest you vote McCain/Palin. Obama is the last thing that the USA needs. A vote for Obama is just putting the nails in our coffin. Oh ya, we need more Republicans in the House and Senate too. The run away spending is going to get way worse if it isn't stopped this year. Did you know that every child born today carry's with its own birth a $500,000 debt. I watched and understand the CBO's budget report. Since Dems have taken Majority in the House and Senate our National debt has tripled. You can only place 240.000 billion of the 470.000 billion debt onto the wars overseas The rest is pork that they keep slipping into each bill they pass. Oh and Obama stated in his interview tonight that "yes he will grow goverment and ya it will cost us but....." LOL Big Brother will be watching sooner then you all think with Obama! LOL which news channel were you watching. CNN and MSNBC and all NBC affiliates, most of you magazines and newspapers are all bias. The properganda over Sarah Palin albeit fun to watch is just that Properganda. There was a guy that went onto a blog and wrote that Sarah believes that dinosaurs lived 4,000 years ago. He was later on a News station and said point blank "I got up that morning and thought that up along with several other things I wrote and put it out there just because" And even with this guys admission that the story was fake, Matt Damon {the actor} goes on national TV saying he needs to know if it is true. What the heck is this idiot doing believing crap in cyberspace. I though actors were smarter then that, I guess I was wrong. Tomorrow is another day! Yesterday is already Past! I have been listening to both guys and I now support Obama! I think we need somemone like him to help our country if McCain is elected it will just be the same as it has been.
I dont like Palin either. Just something about her makes me want to kick her ass. LOL |

Iknow, I know... I'm Canadian..but right from the beginning, Obama seemed to me like the best man for President of the USA..(check my post..lol)
McCain is 79, had 2 or 3 heart bypass surgeries.., so ..if anything happens to him, God forbid, but Palin become's President..Yikes!! Obama doesn't have the charisma that McCain has, he is somewhat boring..but charisma fools a lot of people. Obama, is Obama..what you see is what you get!
