Lets see...
* 10 soldiders unaccounted for * RAF aircraft shot down by our patriot missile * Disgruntled soldier grenades his own people * POWs
If you ask me, I think this is going to get much much worse. I support our troops, but this mission was not about terrorism or Sept 11. It is a war to secure our interests in the Oil fields and our influence over the middle east.
Sorry, but age has nothing to do with ignorance. The only people who seem to be making any sense are the ones protesting war. Do you realize that the U.S. is shelling out 140 Billion per MONTH to Afghanistan to rebuild!?!? THEY BLEW US UP FOR CHRISSAKE!! I watched as they danced in the streets when the towers went. Why the hell are we using our hard earned money to rebuild their country? I can't wait to see the bill for rebuilding Iraq. Iraqi freedom my ass, only at the expense of Americans.

We are driving our troops into a living Hell. They are awaiting our arrival with fire, gas and lead. I am very very proud of the bravery of these young fighters of ours, but I am also sad I do think they will all be surrounded and extinguished. Enemies are likely crossing into iraqi borders from all sides and will keep coming relentlessly to harass the troops and die for their holy war. god bless and pray for them all.
There will be those that get hurt and those who die. It's how the war is done no matter what you do to prevent it.We do need to get rid of sadaam. It is the hardest thing I will deal with my brother is over there fighting. It would be hard to deal with even if he was not all those young men and women. Now he need to try hard to keep the numbers down of those getting hurt and killed. The stupid anti war protesters don't help.

Iraq and Iran are not that much different when it comes to their people. The people are great. You could not find a kinder gentler people. The problem is that no one wants to leave them alone. They have both been troubled with one form or another of dictators who do not hesitate to terrorize their own people. Sadaam scares the heck out of most of the people in Iraq. You'll note how fast the people become switch hitters when the American troops come in and disembowel the Iraq millitary force and Iraq secret police. Without that looming over their heads they are quite happy to change to another regime, one that doesn't constantly threaten their and their families everyday lives. Remember Natzi Germany in the second world war. There's lots of history written about that conflict. How broad a scope for choices did the people have. Go with the flow or your either dead, in jail, or in some work gang. Iraq will never be the same and there will be anger about all of the civilian casualties. So far the civilian casualties from the war don't look as bad as the ones inflicted by Sadaam.
