This is a sad time for our country, we have been leaders in the world for law and order, justice, and building international good will.
Bush has changed our entire doctrines, from that of a country of peace, to that our outlaw country, might makes right, go it alone against our allies, and all in persuit of $$$. Bush cares deeply about the people of Iraq- if you belive that, plese let me sell you a bridge.

I'd like to know when we try our president for crimes of war.

Think about it...if bush didnt care about the people why wouldnt he just bomb the whole country and start from scratch if he wants money out of it...that country is not right by any means but you do have the people livin there that are beat to death for not following....and those people aginst saddam and terror should be saved from death

Think about it Renea, Bush isn't stupid. If he commits genocide the entire world will be against him. When I heard that Saddam was cooperating with U.N inspectors, I thought THANK GOD, maybe we can avoid a war.

GUESS WHAT? Every time Saddam cooperated, Bush found a different reason to threaten him!! Does anyone else see the irony in the fact that Bush wants to spend 90 BILLION to destroy this country, and another 90 BILLION of our hard earned tax dollars (how much debt does the U.S. owe??) to rebuild it?!?!?

Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that we know absolutely nothing about our current "leader"? Really, America knew what kind of underwear Clinton wore and what color dress he left his DNA on!! What do we really know about George W.? Okay, let me see, spawn of Bush Sr, dorky, big ears, completely harmless-looking, no concept of the word "peace".

Does anyone realize that he was AWOL for an entire year and no one knew where he was!! Maybe George W. is really a body double! How about an evil clone? Does anyone else have trouble sleeping at night not knowing what type of madman our beautiful country is controlled by?

Guess what Kari, Saddam NEVER cooperated. He hasnt destroyed his weapons in the 12 years he was supposed to. Now, yes, he was giving inspectors A FEW of his weapons, but that is hardly enough. They were supposed to give ALL of there weapons. And resolution 1441 didnt even call for inspections. It stated Saddam HAD to hand over his weapons, NOW. When that didnt work, the UN decided on inspectors. When that didnt work, the UN decided it didnt care about the resolution they voted on UNANIMOUSLY. France has 60 billion dollars invested in Iraqi oil, so OF COURSE they dont what to go to war!

I think Bush is doing an awesome job. We arent going in and killing these masses of civilians every anti-war person thinks we are. We are bombing strategic locations where some of the elite Iraqis are located. And the Iraqi civilians want to be saved form there oppression. Why else would they be cheering when they see American troops, or why would the Iraqi soldiers be surrendering? If they loved their country, dont you think they would retaliate against the American troops and fight for their country?

Thank God Bush is our president! And people, watch Fox News. It tells BOTH sides of what is going on. It's main focus during this war is not the peace protests (where, ironically, the "peaceful" people are being arrested for being unpeaceful), but rather on the WAR. You decide which is more important.

Bush is being used by Cheney and Rummsfeld, and all the oil companies. He is WAY to stupid to manage his way through this. Rummy and his pals have been waiting for years for an excuse to show off our military might. Its gonna come back to bite us in the ass big time.

Fox news made a good point the other day... they said yes this may be a small thing to after saddam for but if we didnt what could happen in the future? Thats true....I am for Bush all the way!!!!!!!! And for the potests going on.....what if those people where in Iraq and had no freedom and we came to set them free.....

And if bush is so bad then why is he giving the soldiers the option to surrender...if he wanted to be a tottal ass he could have our soldiers just shooting them down. Correct??

Hummmmm, does anyone remember what happened on September 11th? Or am I God's only witness?
I remember waking up in the morning, making by 4 year old boy's breakfast, putting on his shoes, combing his hair, drinking a cup of coffee, checking my e-mail, watering the flowers, then off to school for 9:30 am.

When I left my house I knew nothing...as nothing had happened yet..when I got to the school a few miles away...I knew something serious had happened... I seen the look in the teachers eyes..not knowing whether to send them home for saftey or keep school in session.
I was ashamed @ the fact I knew nothing...the first think I did when I got home was turn on the News.
I turned on the tv to see the first tower hit and people in panic. I watched and wiped tears until the second tower was hit I now know what happened to the first tower, when I seen this I had a serious emotional breakdown. An emotional encounter I never knew I had for my fellow Americans.
Why did I cry? Why did I care? Why was I mad?
All this goes through everyone's minds..yet noone can answer for me.

I will tell you WHY?

I cryed because I never had the chance to visit the towers. I cryed because I knew there were people and school kids going to die. I cryed because the people needed my help and all I did was take my boy to school and wipe tears infront of the tv all day.
I care because I'm an American, I'm a free woman with a beautiful boy whom goes to school and we try to get by and just live. And then one day your in an emotional panic because your country had been disabled by a few men who claim to be followers of God and decide to mass murder for a cause.

What was the cause?

Where are they now? Witch building is next? How many of these people are there out there? Is one of them my neighbor? Is one a pizza deliver?
Or my doctor?
I think about this all the time, it's a frequant silent question I ask myself...

But, why?

So... this is for all the terriorists out there... America is watching you, and we are ready.

Are you for real? Why do you think victims families of September 11 are all protesting the war today in NYC? They are sensitive to truth, and this war is not about terrorism. It is about O-I-L. You may not see it now, but you will in the coming days when the real evil starts to show, and the US and cronies cut lucrative Oil deals with the soon-to-come Iraqi puppet (u.s.) government.

CatoUSA, that was a great post! You are so right. Have you heard the song "Do You Remember?" I cant remember who sings it (its country), but it is a great song about what you are saying.
Raybowen, how can you say this isnt about 9-11? I guess you dont know that Saddam has "terroist training camp." Even if Saddam didnt have anything to do with 9-11 (which I strongly believe it did), we CANNOT let Saddam go. He is a threat to this country. He can (if he hasnt already) supply terrorist with horrible weapons. It is just a treat we cannot let slide. But this is just one reason to have this war, there are still many other reasons. And, I dont feel like Bush is bullshitting me. Please, how is he doing that? I have complete confidence in the man that is protecting this country. I cant wait until after this war, when everyone who thinks Bush is in this for the oil, gets a slap in the face and realizes that Bush has left Iraq to their own business, with their own oil. But, of course, it wont be talked about then. No one will ever admit they were wrong.

Does anyone outhere think about what happened on Sept. 11th. We need to protect the American people. All of these people that are making all of these protests can make them because they live here in America. Let me see them do that in Iraq. Let them live there under that regime for a while. Then, see what there attitude is after being there for a while. Thank God they are able to make their feelings known without fear of reprisals from anyone.
President Bush is not one for genicide. He is trying to save as many civilians as possible.
The Iraq's are afraid of reprisals from the head regimein their country.
We live in this country of democracy. The only way to protect it is to be willing to lay down your life for it the way so many others in the past and in the very present have done and are doing.
We need to provide moral support to our service people and provide support to all military and our Executive Heads of this country.

I just got a great pice of information on the war from a source that was not sapost to talk about it. When we first started bombing in Iraq we also bombed Afganistan!!! GO BUSH!!!!

Also.......think about what saddams soldiers and people where doing on 9/11 they were dancing in the streets throwing partys ect. You also have to think that Iraqs people know nothing other then wat saddam has told them...people have grown up and died with saddam ruleing!!!!

I believe that something needed to be done about Saddam Hussein. But why us? Who made America the world's keeper? Who gave Bush the right to tell another country to destroy WMD when we are building our own? Why does America shoulder the responsibility to rebuild these countries? We are doing this for the sake of the entire world, why don't they chip in? We are going to rebuild these countries only to have them turn on us later with the resources we give them.
