Our President:

The man who admitted to having a drinking problem in younger years, and whose happy-go-lucky lifestyle led him to mediocre grades in college and an ill-fated oil venture. Who mangled syntax, and whose speaking missteps became known as "Bushisms."

He came within a hair's breadth of losing the election in November 2000. While votes were counted and re-counted, Bush quietly but confidently waited at his ranch.

Make no mistake, his orders were carried out, but he stayed in the background, faithful and confident.

Bush named Jesus Christ as Lord of his life on public TV. Not an oblique reference to being "born-again" or having a "life change."

He actually said the un-politically-correct-like phrase, "Jesus Christ"!

On September 11, he was thrust into a position only known by Roosevelt, Churchill, Lincoln, and Washington. The weight of the world was on his shoulders, and the responsibility of a generation was on his soul.

So President George W. Bush walked to his seat at the front of the National Cathedral just three days after two of the most impressive symbols of American capitalism and prosperity virtually evaporated.

When the history of this time is written, it will be acknowledged by friend and foe alike that President George W Bush came of age in that cathedral and lifted a nation off it's knees. In what was one of the most impressive exhibitions of self-control in presidential history, President George W. Bush was able to deliver his remarks without losing his resolve, focus, or confidence.

God's hand, which guided him through that sliver-thin election, now rested fully on him. As he walked back to his seat, the camera angle was appropriate. He was virtually alone in the scene, alone in that massive place of God; just him and the Lord.

Back at his seat, George H. W. Bush reached over and took his son's hand. In that gesture his father seemed to say, "I wish I could do this for you, son, but I can't. You have to do this on your own." Pres George W. Bush squeezed back and gave him a look of peace that said, "I don't have to do it alone, Dad. I've got help."

What a blessing to have a professing Christian as President. Please take a moment after you read this to pray for him. He truly does have the weight of the world on his shoulders. Pray that God will sustain him and give him wisdom and discernment in his decisions.

Pray for his protection and that of his family. After you have prayed, send this to everyone on your e-mail list. Our President needs Christians around the world to be praying for him.

As this makes the e-mail rounds, eventually there could literally be people praying for him 24/7.

PS.....And thank the Lord for a First Lady who is a Christian!

Really Rose, you really are retarded. Oh excuse me, that is offensive to retarded people. I apologize to them. Rose can't you comprehend anything? This country was founded as NONreligious. Seperation of church and state. That was because they came here to escape religious persecution. they didn't want the same thing to happen here and that religion controlled the government.

I don't care one way or the other if a president is "a Christian" or not! Why does that matter? IT DOESN'T!

it only matters to the freaks that think they should rule the world and thier 'morals' are the only ones there are. It goes along with thier inablility due to low iq or brainwashing that there are other religions that believe other things.

I only care when I'm afraid that the person will impose thier 'values/morals' on other people. Not everyone believes that abortion is killing. Whether you agree or not, not everyone does. Kerry is a more religious man than bush and his fake fanaticism. He keeps it to himself and doesn't impose it on others. He's against abortion due to his catholic teachings. But he is intelligent enough to know that he shouldn't impose his personal beliefs on others.

What really matters is God's point of view on abortion Carla. And it is quite clear. You can ramble on as much as you care to about this subject, but in the end you know what the answer is going to be. Whether you admit it now, or on your deathbed.

No that is what YOUR religion teaches you. Not what all believe in. This is a DEMOCRACY not a christian society. SORRY. That's against the constitution. You need a civics class as you are truly ignorant.

Websters definition of

Moral: Dealing with or capable of distinguising between right and wrong.

Right: Upright, virtuous, correct. Mentally or physically sound.

Wrong: Not in accordance with justice, law, morality. Not suitable or appropriate. Contrary to fact. An unjust, immoral, or illegal act.

But that definition has nothing to do with religion in my opinion, or at least as rosey posey fishwife sees it, as HER religion. See rosey posey is retarded and doesn't have the reasoning skills to comprehend that there are many many religions in this world, not just her warped version. And it is very very warped. ONLY the 'christians' think they are better than anyone else. That anyone that doesn't believe in thier religion is a bad person and is going to hell. Which is a riot since many of those others don't believe in that that exists. And I am sure their 'jesus' would be very proud of that attitude.

The majority of the people who voted for President Bush did so because of his morals. Smile Good moral, virtuous people got out there and voted. Kerry said "get out there and vote", and vote the Christians did! Several States also banned same sex marriage. I have renewed hope in America. usa
