if instead of occupying iraq, we should have occupied Israel and Palestine and fed the hungry, built a state for the Palestinians and solved one of the root causes for all this hatred in the muslim world. Then get our butts out of there. We should set examples of being peacemakers when we have the opportunity, and in this case we had one. Instead dozens of fathers and mothers lost their sons and daughters in a war that we have already lost. make no mistake, we did not win this war with iraq. the world is now aligned against us and that will not change until we get our own regime change. its bad times ahead for us all.

just think what we could have done with the billions of dollars that funded the war, and with the reconstruction dollars we have to pay to iraq. could we have solved the root cause as you say. i think so.

They have the resources for people to have a good life over there, it was just controlled by the wrong person
